Maestra Episode 6 Preview: Maestra String of Truth (마에스트라) is a Korean mystery thriller that tells the story of a passionate violinist who reaches the peak she craves, without letting anyone get in her way. Directed by Kim Jung-kwon, the drama stars Lee Young-ae, Lee Mo-saeng, Hwang Bo Reum-byeol, Kim Young-jae, Park Ho-san, and Yang Jun-mo, alongside other cast members.
The Kdrama tells the story of violinist Cha Se-eum who is now the conductor of an orchestra. While she has reached a stage that is envied by all with her hard work and passion, Se-eum has a secret that can change her life forever. And so it does when a mysterious case takes place in the orchestra and she takes a look into it.
Maestra Strings of Truth takes over tvN’s Saturday & Sunday 21:20 time slot previously occupied by Castaway Diva.

Maestra Episode 6 Prediction
Kim Phil is ready to go to any lengths to make sure Se-eum doesn’t escape from him while Jeong-jae is now hell-bent on intervening in his plans in every way. Meanwhile, facing her mother like this brings back her trauma as she falls into the belief that she too will become like her. Soon, her voluntary stepping down comes as a shock to everyone as she leaves all those who look down on her stunned.
Maestra Episode 5 Recap
Joeng-jae confronts Se-eum about her fear of inheriting her mother’s disease, but she has a show to lead and doesn’t stay back to answer him. However, she later rushes to him and tells him to let her be and not force her to get a blood test as her hope to not have inherited the disease is what is keeping her going. Unfortunately, these words don’t stop the nightmares that she constantly has.
Meanwhile, the police inform Kim Phil about the truth behind the accident and he heads to meet A-jin who has now lost faith in him. The next day, Se-eum continues with her routine at the orchestra and A-jin returns. Meanwhile, Jeong-jae tries to find a cure for her disease while nagging her with his care.
However, he soon realises that her actions may get her in trouble when pointed out by Tae-ho and Yoo-ra. Later, Kim Phil tries to make her agree to film a documentary together but her refusal leads him to use other methods. This leads to Se-eum pushing the divorce which makes him reveal that he is aware of Remington’s disease and would use it to end her career if she doesn’t agree with him.
This breaks the final strand for Se-eum as she sends the pictures of his affair to the institute’s head who then asks Kim Phil to resign. Se-eum then lets him know that this is just a peek into what more she can do if he doesn’t agree to her demands. However, Kim Phil doesn’t stop there as he brings her mother to the orchestra.

The series will stream from December 9, 2023, to January 14, 2024. Episode 6 of the series will stream on December 24 at 9:20 PM KST (7:30 PM IST).

Maestra Plot
The show’s synopsis reads: “A highly accomplished conductor decides to leave her life in New York behind to take up the challenge of reviving a struggling orchestra.”
The drama is a remake of the French show Philharmonia which aired in 2019. It follows the life of Cha Se-eum who is driven by passion and her boldness to achieve all that she aims for, no matter the price.
