Kdramas fans’ excitement for Love Scout episodes 9 and 10 has certainly been brought down after the announcement of the postponement of these episodes hit us all. While the reason is understandable and acceptable by fans around the world, it is still a let down especially when the show is going this well. And let’s not forget, Ji-yun and Eun-ho’s dating era has just started and we have been looking forward to more of their cute chemistry!
Love Scout (나의 완벽한 비서) follows a young passionate CEO of a headhunting company who puts everything she has into her work. While she flourishes at her job, she isn’t the best at anything outside of her work. Thus, her secretary takes care of everything else while she focuses on her work. This is their story, and how these two come together. Directed by Ham Joon-ho, the drama stars Han Ji-min, Lee Joon-hyuk, Kim Do-hoon, Kim Yoon-hye and other cast members.
On January 30, the production team of the Kdrama announced that a special broadcast of the show would be carried out on Friday, January 31st, while the originally scheduled episode would air the next day. This means that Love Scout episode 9 will now air on Saturday, February 1st, 2025. Meanwhile, Love Scout episode 10 will also air on Friday, February 7th, 2025, a week after episode 9.
The production team clarified that this decision was taken in order to avoid the dip in viewership ratings that could happen due to the Lunar New Year holiday during which the audience is usually preoccupied with their family gatherings. While sharing adorable behind-the-scenes pictures of the lead couple, the team hopes for the understanding of the audience who have been loving this beautiful couple.
Well, we without a doubt understand these circumstances and let’s all agree, that this beautiful couple does deserve our love and patience. The chemistry displayed by the lead couple has been loved by fans around the world as they not only bring a gender reversal vibe but also a mature romance that has been popular among Kdrama fans this season.
Meanwhile, the preview for the upcoming episodes has also got fans all the more eager for the upcoming episodes as the couple once again plans on making us see what perfect chemistry looks like. With Ji-yun and Eun-ho sharing a passionate kiss where Eun-ho reassures his beloved in every way possible to make her understand his love for her; literally melting us along with Ji-yun because why not.
But Eun-ho doesn’t stop here as the preview also shows us a jealous Eun-ho which is surely something we won’t be missing out on. The green-flag who knows how amazing his woman is has all the right to be jealous and let’s agree, who doesn’t like a little jealousy once in a while? As the episodes move on from being light and fun to getting serious as Ji-yun’s father comes up in conversations, we know that the tension is soon going to build up for the finale week of the show.
With just four episodes to go of the show, this postponement only seems all the more troublesome but also worth keeping up the tension. As the show slowly moves to the finale, there are still many things we are looking forward to. In a way, with this, we get to keep holding on to the show a little longer than was intended.
Altogether, the show is moving on to another fantastic phase and we are ready for what’s to come despite the delay. The eagerness and excitement of fans of the show is not to be underestimated and we are ready for the upcoming episodes!
