Love In Contract Episode 8 Recap And Review: Ji-ho And Sang-eun Get Closer

Love In Contract, or MonTuesWedThursFriSat is a South Korean Romantic Comedy Drama written by Ha Gu-dam and directed by Nam Sung-woo. The series stars Park Min-young, Go Kyung-pyo, Kim Jae-young and Kang Hyung-suk in leading roles. The series runs for 16 episodes and Love In Contract Episode 8 has a runtime of 67 minutes.

Love In Contract Episode begins with Sang-eun blushing, thinking about what Ji-ho told her. Ji-ho worried that Sang-eun would become uncomfortable if he brought up the the night she got drunk and kissed him. He was afraid that Sang-eun would avoid him and would not meet him anymore. Sang-eun is happy that Ji-ho cares about her feelings.

Ji-ho wants to spend more time with Sang-eun and takes her to the married couple’s golf game, which he avoided every time before. He tries to show everyone how good of a husband is but he is just doing everything to make Sang-eun comfortable. Ji-ho’s reputation increases and everyone praises him as a good husband. Sang-eun is also pleased with Ji-ho.

While having dinner, Sang-eun finally brings up the topic of their kiss and Ji-ho retreats by cracking jokes. He doesn’t want Sang-eun to feel uncomfortable. This is the first time Sang-eun sees Ji-ho smiling. Ji-ho doesn’t understand his feelings and posts his queries on a forum. A user keeps on calling him a loser for not understanding his and the girl’s feelings. The users advise him to just confess his love.

Ina group’s chairman is angry at his secretaries for not letting him know about Sang-eun living in Korea. They explain to him that Sang-eun is not interested in the Ina group and has been living life on her own. Still, the chairman wants Sang-eun to leave the country. His secretaries meet Sang-eun and tell her that it will be difficult for her to live in Korea because of what Madame Yoo told the chairman.

Sang-eun has a meeting with Hae-jin and he has prepared a lunch date for her at home. However, his mother barges inside and they argue about Hae-jin’s love life. His brother is on his side and wants to meet his fiancee but his mother wants him to marry to the daughter of a businessman. Hae-jin understands that things have become more complicated and cancels his date with Sang-eun.

Sang-eun was disturbed because of what the Ina group told her and arranged a comfortable date with Ji-ho to relax. She arrives at his apartment but encounters Hae-jin’s mother. She guesses that Sang-eun is Hae-jin’s girlfriend and they talk over a cup of tea. Sang-eun looks shabby in her pyjamas while carrying comic books and Hae-jin’s mother misjudged her to be a poor girl.

Sang-eun meets Ji-ho later and she asks him if she should leave the country. She tells him that she won’t leave if he says no. Ji-ho doesn’t say anything initially but later, tells her to not go. As Sang-eun leaves for home, she sees Hae-jin and he looks sick. He requests her to take him to the hotel. She takes him to his hotel room and he collapses.

Sang-eun has just left the hotel and Ji-ho is on her way. He asks her for an explanation respectfully and she gives it to him. However, when someone else arrives at the hotel besides Ji-ho. She is Hae-jin’s new lawyer and Ji-ho’s ex-wife.

Love In Contract Episode 8 gives us a classic romcom and some positivity. Gwang-nam had been harassed before for being gay but Hae-jin didn’t get bothered by it and hired him as a bodyguard. The way Ji-ho asked Sang-eun for an explanation, not because of a misunderstanding but because he wanted to hear the truth directly from her shows how a healthy relationship should be.
