Remember MCU’s Miss Minutes? Looks like the official TVA mascot’s tweet has sparked speculations of Ryan Reynolds featuring in the upcoming Loki Season 2, or vice versa, with her showing up in Deadpool 3 instead. On November 28, 2022, the Twitter account registered under the uncanny clock mascot’s name tweeted a message to Reynolds, “Hey there @Deadpool… Love, Miss Minutes”.
And the Vancity actor didn’t leave it hanging either. He responded by leaving a comment underneath the tweet saying, “Hello, Miss Minutes”. Soon after, Marvel fans lost all calm and began putting two and two together as to what these posts could hint at, especially since nothing slides away as a mere coincidence in the universe, thus making fans cautious of every interaction held offscreen as well.
Since Hugh Jackman’s reprisal has been confirmed in the threequel with the ‘Merc with a mouth’, several rumours about other big Marvel figures joining the ropes have also surfaced. All these names have popped up on the horizon: Taylor Swift, Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror, and TVA’s very own Owen Wilson.
While the former two’s presence remains to be seen, insider Daniel Richtman spoke up about Wilson’s return to the MCU game as Time Variance Authority’s Morbius, claiming that “Owen Wilson will have a big role in Deadpool 3. He will reprise his role as Mobius from Loki.” This, too, remains to be confirmed. Still, with Miss Minutes’ outspoken message to the Deadpool actor rising on a public platform in the open, the statement may have some credibility. If Morbius’ highly likely comeback in the third movie is solidified, then there may also be room for Miss Minutes to share the screen.
On the other hand, the D23 expo released a trailer for Loki Season 2 exclusively for the public present at the premises despite the series still being in production. The same trailer confirmed some returning faces to the second outing, including Tom Hiddleston as the titular character, Wilson’s Morbius, Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s Ravonna Renslayer, Eugene Cordero’s Casey and others, with Majors possibly appearing in the flesh as Marvel’s new big bad. We already saw him make an appearance in the first season; it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s back for the second round.

As far as Reynolds’ character is concerned, no news is floating in the air hinting at the same. If Owen Wilson is to appear in Deadpool 3 for sure, then we might catch a swift glimpse of Deadpool in the second season of Loki as a cameo or as one of the post-credits scenes, which would then be further flourished and picked apart in his movie later on.
Regardless of the result, Marvel has already captivated its fans and stirred hot buzz in the pot. Will the hype be worth all this in the end? We’ll have to wait for the show and the movie to find the truth. Head over to Miss Minutes’ Twitter account by clicking here.
