LISA ‘Tarantino’ MV Review: A letter needs to be delivered to Lisa’s favourite director, whom she refers to as “Taran”, but there is a hotel full of people who apparently have nothing better to do than stop LISA from completing this one task, very important to her. Half the fun of the MV lies in watching LISA win over all of them, honestly.
The music video takes a fairly simple premise and plays with it, turning LISA’s mission to deliver the red envelope to her favourite director into an action-packed chase through a hotel. Bellboys, hotel staff, and even chefs are a hurdle in her journey, and LISA has to “fight” (literally fight) her way through the chaos while protecting the letter. The mission sounds pretty straightforward, but the execution makes it feel like we turned on an action sequence where LISA decided to remain the main character.
There is a little surprise for the viewers who like cute stuff. The MV moves with a little flower moving in the progress bar (the red line along the play button) of the MV. AND IT IS REALLY CUTE!
LISA ‘Tarantino’ MV Review: An Action Sequence Precisely
The major thing about the MV is its commitment to the storyline. LISA wants to get the letter delivered before the person leaves the hotel. There is a sense of urgency attached to the situation, and the video keeps finding new ways to make it more difficult for her. What could have been a simple walk down a hotel corridor turns into a series of confrontations.

People keep getting in her way, and LISA responds with some very cool action moves, determined to keep the envelope safe. There is a cheekiness to the whole thing because the stakes are very specific; she is in no way trying to save the world, but just a letter.
The hotel setting gives the video a lot of opportunity to play with the premise. With the bellboys, helpers and chefs becoming a part of the chaos, the action keeps moving rather than settling into a long confrontation. It offers a cinematic experience, and the MV seems happy to let the story do the entertaining.
The Outfit Speaks, Attitude Delivers
Visually, LISA has two distinct looks that help separate the opening and the ending from the rest of the action. She begins in a big black jacket with long, flowing brown hair, and the look returns at the end of the MV. For most of the video, she wears an elegant black outfit with shoulder-length blonde hair, and carries a lot of attitude that adds to the elegance.
The blonde hairstyle deserves a moment because it works well with the outfit: the combination gives LISA a chic, slightly mysterious appearance without making the styling feel complicated. The black costume is elegant, the hair adds to the overall look, and together they make for the sleek action-film mood that the MV carries.

But wait… styling is only a part that makes the visuals work. LISA carries herself with the very particular kind of confidence throughout the video. Even when people are trying to stop her, she does not become a mess. There is attitude in the way she moves, and she seems entirely convinced that she is going to get that letter where it needs to go. The little expressions and the overall demeanour of LISA give an advantage to the presence of the MV.
The Lyrics Fit the Chaos
The MV also has fun bringing the visual attitude and lyrics together. When LISA sings “Got my nails really long like the barrel of my gun”, the line fits the character she is playing in the MV. There is toughness attached, and the video gives that attitude a setting in which it can actually run around, fight people and protect a very important envelope.

There is also, “I’m a boss, I’m a don when I’m driving to the sun. It’s a movie baby, come and press play”. The movie reference feels rather fitting when the video itself is structured like a miniature action film. The narrative does not appear to be just there to fill the gaps between performance shots. There is a balance between the song’s confidence and the situation unfolding on screen, without the video directly explaining every little thing, giving the premise room to take over.
Final Verdict: Action Sequence With Red Envelope
The ending keeps things simple: after all the obstacles, LISA finally manages to slide the red envelope into the intended room. The recipient picks it up and places it on the table, and that is where the MV ends. There is no long explanation of what the letter contains, but the story completes its mission. The point is that LISA spent the entire video trying to get the work done and finally gets it done.

What makes Tarantino enjoyable is the way it commits to the small, action-heavy story without losing the attitude along the way. The outfit, hairstyle and the action give the video its momentum, and the lyrics fit the character LISA embodies. It is stylish and dramatic enough to make a letter delivery feel like an event.
