Lazarus Episode 4 Recap
Although Doctor Skinner has vanished without a trace, the Lazarus team manages to uncover a lead. It turns out that a hacker previously connected to him had liquidated all of his shares in Hapna just before Skinner publicly revealed that the drug was deadly. This strongly suggests that Skinner used the hacker to wipe his digital footprint and go off the grid. What’s more, the same hacker appears to have ties to a stockbroker named Sam, who also happens to run a nightclub.
Determined to dig deeper, Axel, Leland, Christine, and Doug head to Sam’s club to infiltrate his inner circle. Their objective: get invited to his exclusive, elite parties where they might find answers. Amusingly, Leland is the first to catch Sam’s attention thanks to his seemingly innocent appearance, earning an invite. Christine joins him soon after, giving the team a perfect opportunity to gather intel on Hapna.

It finally reveals the hacker’s identity as a renowned DJ who had been discreetly handling financial deals and assisting Sam with stock manipulations.
As the episode wraps up, the mystery around Hapna deepens. It’s revealed that everything the team thought they knew about the drug, and Doctor Skinner was just the tip of the iceberg. Larger, more powerful corporate forces like Delta Medicinal are at play.
Lazarus Episode 5 Review

The previous hacker apparently got information on Hapna before everyone else because he hacked into the data of Delta Medicinal. This company was the one who conducted clinical trials on the drug previously, so that means there is a high chance they already knew about its dangers. On top of that, the Lazarus team found another very strange picture in their database. On top of that, someone apparently uploads songs on SoundCloud from the Delta Medicinals account. All of these things point towards the fact that there is something wrong with this company, and they might be connected with Doctor Skinner.
However, things become especially interesting when they find out that these songs are actually clinical trial data of Hapna. After this, the Lazarus team travelled to the medicine company to conduct their investigation. Here, it becomes clear that even the owner of Delta Medicinal doesn’t know anything about Skinner, and he himself has been looking for him all along. Haring this, Axel comes up with a plan to lure Skinner out by announcing that they have already got their hands on a cure for Hapna.

Later, they organised an elaborate conference where they expected Doctor Skinner to come. The security of this place was very tight, but that was when somebody tried to hack into its system. Even a power outage happened within the conference room, and someone rushed to the fake medicines and injected them into himself. On top of that, another hacker attacked the system and even managed to leave significant amount of damage.
Today’s episode did not really progress much narrative-wise, as it is still very much a mystery as to where Doctor Skinner is. The only thing that was interesting about this episode was the fact that Axel might be immune to the effects of Hapna. Now, this can be because he took a different drug, or there is something within his body that makes him resistant.
Verdict

Will the story progress in a way where Axel will become the saviour who will save everyone? Or maybe we will later know that the drug of Hapna has always been a scam, and it actually won’t really kill anyone.
