Lakhan Leela Bhargava Episode 1 Recap and Review: Directed by Abhay Chhabra and written by Faiz Ahmad, Pooja G, Gibran Noorani, Saurabh Tewari, and Nayan Rathod, the new Jio series follows the life of a lawyer struggling to get a case and shine. The series stars prominent actors like Ravie Dubey, Akshay Joshi, Ariah Agarwal, Mohit Chauhan, Bhuvnesh Mann, Sonali Sachdev, Sanvikaa and more.
The series is produced by Saurabh Tewari and Parin Multimedia. The director of photography is Suhas Rao and the casting associate is Rudra Aashiwal. The 21-part series airs from August 21, 2023, to October 4, 2023. Every week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, a new episode will premiere.

Lakhan Leela Bhargava Plot
Lakhan is a skilled lawyer who fails to get cases to work on since he is highly empathetic and has negative talk going around him. Apparently, he is the illegitimate child of a famous lawyer Mohan Shandiliya. Due to this, his half-brother Neeraj Shandiliya is on the rise, and Lakhan is left to face the war in court. When Lakhan gets his first case, he is pulled off his possible victory due to the problems around his name. Will Lakhan fight and show that irrespective of being the famous lawyer’s half-son, he’s still capable of standing alone?

At the court premises, an old man yells at two youngsters for ruining his property. He assigns a lawyer for his case, but a guy locks him in the restroom and tries to persuade the old man to choose another lawyer who is none other than Lakhan. The young man introduces Lakhan so that his friend can get his first case. Lakhan arrives and smoothly talks, winning the old man’s trust. However, when he hears his request to make the young boys apologise and feel humiliated, he immediately backtracks.
The elderly man runs out, and Lakhan loses his possible first case. Just then, another friend of Lakhan rushes and pulls the lawyer to his house due to his mother’s activities. On reaching there, he watches people crowding in and yelling at Lakhan’s mother to stop her from trying to end her life. Lakhan, who knows his mother well, simply pulls the cable out so that the TV will switch off. Lakhan’s mother opens the door and comes out, asking him to put the cable back.
The neighbours ask her not to end her life just because her son is good for nothing. This annoys her, and she argues stating that she was cleaning the fan and had the TV’s volume on maximum to hear the dialogue. She fights with the neighbours, and Lakhan pulls her back inside the home. He and his mother have a conversation about his future and her desire to see everyone talk proudly about him.
It is here that Lakhan states that if only Mohan Shandiliya’s name doesn’t pop in front of him all the time, he’d have been a famous lawyer by now. The mother and son duo then end their conversation playfully. Later, Lakhan goes to his mother’s cafe and works there during his free time. His friends join him there.

One of his friends, who is a cop, tells him that he has a case to solve. He dives into the details of the crime, stating that a chartered accountant woman has visited a gold shop and asked the owner to stop the CCTV camera. After that, a thief has come in, killed the owner, and kidnapped the woman, only to let her go when they meet with an accident.
Lakhan meets with the woman at the prison and asks her for more details. She states that she didn’t plan the murder but was intertwined in this trouble due to the pressures of her husband. She cries out, saying that if her husband had gone to work, she’d have managed the house and wouldn’t have had the need to work. Lakhan meets her husband, who pleads with him to save his wife from the problem. Lakhan gives him hope and leaves.
The next day, Lakhan’s mother excitedly shares the news of her son’s first case by arranging a discount in her store. At the court, Lakhan meets Neeraj Shandiliya and disses him. He tells him that his time has come and leaves for the courtroom. Over there, he learns that the defence lawyer is Neeraj. Happily, Lakhan takes his stand. When he begins with his statements, the client requests the judge a change of lawyer, leaving Lakhan shattered and humiliated.

Courtroom dramas never fail to entertain because every time a case comes in, a different story is shown and handled in a unique way. The first crime case looks intriguing, but sadly, Lakhan is ripped of his opportunity. Nevertheless, he seems to be a man who constantly fights for his way, so his next moves will surprise the viewers.
The comedy aspect is present, making the series feel light-hearted. Since Lakhan has beef with Neeraj, their rivalry is sure to entertain the viewers. Moreover, they’re half-brothers, so their change of character will make the show even more captivating. Ravie Dubey is an excellent actor, and seeing him nail his lawyer role looks promising and wholesome.
