Planning to Watch Lady Chatterley’s Lover? Here’s All About the Romantic Movie Based on the Book

Netflix is soon bringing the controversial classic from the 1920s to our screen with Lady Chatterley’s Lover based on the book by D. H. Lawrence. The sexually explicit scene between the notorious couple belonging to different classes was even banned in many countries back then, and now we have the visuals being released on the platform soon.

Lady Chatterley’s Lover brings the story of a young married woman whose upper-class Baronet husband is paralysed from the waist down because of a Great War injury. His wife has an affair with the gamekeeper and the class difference between the couple highlights a major motif of the novel.

The trailer of the upcoming film shows the young Lady Chatterley getting married to her husband only to later wheel him into their new estate after the war which has left him paralysed. Unable to find peace in this new lifestyle where she lives more or less like a widow, her eyes land on the gamekeeper, Oliver Mellors, and soon she begins a path with no turning back.
