Korean Dramas Releasing in August 2022: Are you a Kdrama addict wondering what new shows will release next month? Well, you have come to the right place. After giving you a list of dramas that were released in July, we have now prepared a list of August releases.

The list also includes episodic dramas and Netflix series/movies that will drop all the episodes together. From Wild Boar Hunting to A Model Family, the month of August has some exciting Korean dramas for all Kdrama lovers.

August 1

Wild Boar Hunting/Hunted

When a middle-aged country village man goes boar hunting in the mountains, something unexpected happens. One by One, the man has to deal with various issues in his life.

The Korean mystery drama is directed by Song Yeon Hwa and stars Park Ho-san, Ye Soo-jung, Kim Soo-jin, Lee Ji-won, Lee Hyo-je and others. The show will release on the MBC network.

Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong

In the medical drama, a young psychiatrist named Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min-jae) works at the royal palace. However, the royal family fired him and accused him of conspiracy against them. Did he do anything wrong? We will find out when the show releases on tvN.

Along with Min-jae, the Kdrama also stars Kim Hyang-gi, Kim Sang-kyung, Jung Won-chang and Yoo Sung-joo.

August 3

The Empire of Law

The Korean series will show some scandalous scandals of Korea’s high-ranking law-abiding aristocrats who dream of hereditary succession. It stars Kim Sun-a, Ahn Jae-wook, and Kim Myung-ji and will premiere on JTBC.

August 5

Carter

It’s a Korean Netflix thriller movie starring Joo Won, Jung Jae-young, Lee Sung-jae and others.

August 10

Tell Me Your Wish / If You Wish Upon Me

The medical drama stars Ji Chang-wook, Choi Soo-young, Sung Dong Il, Won Ji-an, and Yang Hee-Kyung. The episodes will release on KBS2, ViuTV.

August 12

Ants Are Riding / Stock Struck

A mysterious stock meeting is attended by five stock market investors. Through stock trading, they learn there about friendships, love, and life. It will release on tvN Network. The Kdrama stars Han Ji-eun, Hong Jong-hyun, Jung Moon-sung, Kim Sun-young and Jang Gwang

A Model Family

Netflix describes the Korean crime thriller: “After unwittingly stealing money from a cartel, a cash-strapped professor finds the only way to save his broken family is by working as a drug courier.”

August 26

Seoul Vibe

Netflix movie plot reads, “In the days leading up to the 1988 Seoul Olympics, a ragtag team of drivers and mechanics go undercover to dismantle a massive money-laundering ring.”

August 27

Little Women

The Korean show stars Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-hyun, Park Ji-hu and Wi Ha-joon. The story is about three sisters who lived in poverty as children. After a big incident, the sisters go up against the richest family in the country. The show will release on August 27.

August 29

The Law Cafe / Love by Law

The romantic law comedy-drama stars Lee Seung-gi and Lee Se-young. It depicts the love story of Kim Yu-ri (Se-young), a stunning attorney with a four-dimensional personality, and Kim Jeong-ho (Seung-gi), a former prosecutor renowned as a “monster genius.” The show will release on KBS2.
