HONG YE-SOOL, AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AT ZEU AD IS MAKING HER WAY UP AT WORK. HOWEVER, SHE HAS ONE SECRET: SHE CAN SEE THE FUTURE WHEN SHE KISSES SOMEONE.

– Kiss Sixth Sense Episode 11 review contains spoilers –

After an ‘exciting time’ in the last episode, Kiss Sixth Sense episode 11 has the creepy stalker keeping an eye on Ye-sool – he apparently planted several hidden cameras outside and inside her house and yes, there are some in her bedroom as well. He goes further and runs Cheol-yong over as well.

Meanwhile, Ye-sool and Min-hu wake up cuddling each other and she gets to hear the three magic words from him. Unfortunately, a sweet kiss results in a horrific prediction coming to light – Min-hu is going to end up in the hospital trying to save her from her stalker and the captions make it apparent that that stalker is Hae-jin.

She closes herself off in the bathroom wondering if she is going to cause this to him but before she can share her prediction, they have to rush to the hospital to see Cheol-yong. As Ye-sool grapples with the future that she saw earlier, Min-hu and Sa-ra seem to know that this incident has a connection with their shared past. In spite of knowing more information, however, Sa-ra refuses to tell her daughter anything and insists on not burdening her with her forgotten past memories.

It seems like Sa-ra has been stalked before as well and that person caused the accident all those years ago. Later that day, Min-hu asks Ye-sool to take the day off and promises to talk to her when they meet later. At work, crap hits the fan when Kyung-seok tries to sabotage Panning Team 1 but it backfires on his face majorly.

As the Mopix ad comes online, everyone is in high spirits except Ye-sool, who remembers getting stabbed in her prediction. She is horrified at what the future holds for her and Min-hu but horrifying still is that Hae-jin is in the hospital and continues to stalk her without her knowledge.

Sa-ra, meanwhile, gets a call from Hae-jin who tells her that he will meet her and ‘their’ daughter soon. When Ye-sool overhears the conversation, she finally tells her daughter everything, but not enough, apparently. Sa-ra asks her daughter to stay with Min-hu for the time being as it’s not safe to stay in her house.

That night, Ye-sool tries to get out of Min-hu’s apartment in order to save him from the future that she saw and finally tells him about it. He, however, asks her to tell him everything that she saw so that they are better prepared for what’s to happen.

Together, they figure out where the incident is about to happen and that scares ye-sool even more. She tries to get away from him to keep him safe, but he assures her that nothing will happen to him and that they should try to find a solution to the problem at hand.

As Min-hu calls Noel Orphanage to know a bit more about the upcoming event, Ye-sool dreams about the past and the future in a weird mishmash and she wakes up screaming. She wonders whether this has got something to do with the memories she has lost from her past and looks absolutely distraught. Weirdly, even though he sees the stress she’s under, Min-hu doesn’t tell her important information about her own life.

Either way, as Ye-sool realises that regardless of how you try to manipulate it, the future always stays the same, Min-hu does some serious investigation to understand where Cheol-yong has been and takes the information to the police. After a bit of convincing, Min-hu and the police get the CCTV footage from nearby buildings and are able to narrow down a suspect.

After a hectic few days, Min-hu and Ye-sool finally try to enjoy themselves and go out on a date. That night, as he sleeps, Ye-sool goes through the pictures that they took that day and remembering the future makes her sob for Min-hu. When he wakes up later, however, he finds her missing from bed and she is nowhere to be found.

But, don’t worry, she left a note – she’s going to the States to keep him safe and change their future. Min-hu immediately rushes out to find her but finds the hidden cameras instead. Now more paranoid, she tries to hear for Ye-sool and finds her screaming Hae-jin’s name.

Ye-sool, meanwhile, learns the hard way that making rushed decisions is a bad idea. She gets drugged by Hae-jin at the restaurant and falls unconscious. Min-hu does eventually find Que Sera Sera and unable to open the door, rushes off in his car to find her.

Meanwhile, the creep stalker tells Ye-sool about his past and why they are a family, telling her his delusions regarding her mother and how he killed her father. Ye-sool, smartly, doesn’t try to break his delusions and calls him her father so that he doesn’t kill her in a fit of rage.

Walking around the house, she finds the entrance closed off and escapes from her childhood bedroom window. Min-hu, meanwhile, gets to Noel and realises that the action is going to take place tonight and rushes to the reservoir to find Ye-sool.

At the reservoir, after a rather slow chase sequence, Hae-jin and Ye-sool find themselves on the frosted reservoir as the ice starts to break. Min-hu gets there just in time to see this happening just as the ice breaks and Ye-sool falls under. He jumps in after her as Hae-jin runs off and Min-hu is able to rescue his girlfriend. For some reason, the Northern lights appear in the sky as he’s trying to resuscitate. Did the lights give these two their powers? I am so confused. We don’t see it after that.

In a re-enactment of what happened between them in the past, Min-hu screams out in pain and Hae-jin stabs him, blaming him for what Ye-sool went through. A heartbroken Ye-sool has no other choice but to cry over her unconscious boyfriend.

Kiss Sixth Sense Episode 11 Review

Still From Kiss Sixth Sense Episode 11

Kiss Sixth Sense just went from fun and flirty romance to a full-on murder mystery which has absolutely no mystery or thrill at all.

I am confused as to why this was the route the makers thought of taking the show since I think, considering the subject matter, keeping things not serious should’ve been the goal.

On top of that, there is no mystery since we all know that Hae-jin is behind all of this. They literally told us this a few episodes ago. So since we are not learning things with our protagonists, it becomes very difficult to be invested in the thrill of it since we know what to expect. So we just watch things that we expect to happen, happen and awkwardly sit there for the show to tell us something more.

There’s also a surprising lack of romance and except for that date scene (where we sit for too long at that roadside performance), there’s nothing of note to keep us invested and I am left to just be very underwhelmed.

Plus, Pil-yo and Ji-young have totally faded into the background and now I wonder what the point was to introduce them.
