King the Land Overview
King the Land (킹더랜드) is a rom-com Kdrama that brings the story of an heir and an employee who works at one of the hotels owned by his family. Directed by Im Hyun-wook, the drama stars Lee Jun-ho, Lim Yoon-a (Yoona), Go Won-hee, Kim Ga-eun, Ahn Se-ha, and Kim Jae-won, alongside other cast members.
The drama brings the story of the heir Goo Won who has been thrown into an inheritance war, and the happy Cheon Sa-rang, whose smile moves him like no other. As the two begin to spend more time together, a beautiful love begins to bloom in their story.
Lee Jun-ho was last seen on The Red Sleeve as Yi San / King Jeongjo, while Yoona played audience-favourite Go Mi-ho in 2022’s hugely popular Big Mouth. King the Land takes over the jTBC’s Saturday-Sunday 22:30 PM KST time slot previously occupied by Doctor Cha.

Gu Won and Sa-rang reunite while the former’s mother requests Il-hoon to let her son live the way he wants to without any pressure. Meanwhile, Hwa-ran’s relationship goes downhill once again while Gu Won prepares a ring for his beloved. Later, Hwa-ran reveals to Gu Won that all it took for a woman to leave Gu Won was some money which bought the “true love” that she claimed to have. But whom is she talking about?
King the Land Episode 14 Recap
Gu Won and Sa-rang take up headlines after their secret is out and become a scandal for all. While it was still under control when Sa-rang’s face was kept blurred, Hwa-ran ordered for her face to be shown and led Sa-rang into facing mocks from her colleagues. Later, Gu Won makes it clear that it is not a scandal but the truth and that it was he who chased Sa-rang.
Meanwhile, Il-hoon has a talk with Sa-rang and asks her to leave for somewhere quiet in order to create some space between the couple. He also tells Gu Won to go on a business trip on the pretext of overlooking the chain restaurant plan. Sa-rang is burdened by this request but doesn’t reveal anything to Gu Won who takes her to an amusement park to have some fun.
The next day, the two leave for their destinations. Three weeks later, Gu Won returns to find out what has happened and rushes to Sa-rang’s side when he crosses paths with a woman who calls herself his mother.
