KBS The Seasons Announces Premiere Date, Introducing Zico as Dynamic New Host!

In a thrilling announcement for enthusiasts of Korean music and late-night talk shows, KBS revealed that Zico, the illustrious hip-hop artist and producer, is set to make a triumphant comeback as the host for The Seasons, the network’s late-night music talk show. The news, disclosed by KBS on April 16, 2024, marks the resurgence of the show with Zico steering the ship, promising an immersive experience for viewers.

The Seasons has established itself as a standout within KBS’s late-night programming, distinguished by its innovative embrace of a seasonal format—an unprecedented move within the network’s music lineup. Launching with Jay Park’s captivating Drive in February of the preceding year, the show has played host to a diverse array of musical talents. From Choi Jeong Hoon’s enchanting Night Park to AKMU’s soulful rendition in Tonight, and the electrifying presence of Lee Hyori with Red Carpet, each artist has left an indelible mark as they took on the role of MC, infusing the show with their unique charm and flair.

Building upon this legacy, the announcement of Zico as the upcoming season’s MC, made by KBS in March, has sparked considerable excitement and anticipation among fans. Following in the illustrious footsteps of Lee Hyori, Zico’s inclusion promises to bring a fresh perspective and dynamic energy to the show, further solidifying its status as a dynamic platform for musical expression and discovery.

The forthcoming season is aptly named Zico’s Artist, paying homage to his acclaimed second mini-album, which debuted in 2017. This album not only showcased his distinctive musical style but also highlighted his prowess as a self-producing artist. Through its release, Zico solidified his position as a formidable solo performer in the music industry. His influence extends beyond his music; he is recognized for his ability to set trends and captivate audiences worldwide

As we eagerly await the forthcoming season, Zico’s Artist presents itself as a jubilant tribute to musical ingenuity and imaginative exploration, commemorating Zico’s extraordinary odyssey as a solo artist and his profound influence on the musical realm.

The debut episode of ‘The Seasons: Zico’s Artist’ is scheduled for April 23, 2024.
