Justice Served (2022) Ending Explained
The show’s last episode was definitely explosive and twisting with revelations of the past and the result of the online poll. With Azania Maqoma at the centre of the season finale, we see a massive change in this character as he goes from a hero to a villain.
After remembering the betrayal that Azania got from his best friend Abel, he manipulates the Numoor to come out from the shadow. This is because he has hope in the people of the country and wants to believe that what he stands for is right. But all he gets is a betrayal by his comrade who helps a journalist to contact the people and change their minds.

Changing the minds of the people who were slowly falling for Azania’s manipulation who told them that he is doing this for the natives and their freedom. The people of the country have decided the outcome of the trial and it is Not Guilty.
This breaks the last strand of hope that Azania has for the natives as he agrees to the ways of his friend who left for power. The result also marks for a huge turn in the show and a change in Azania’s personality. The man devises a new plan for the group’s exit as he shows the people that he will peacefully surrender.
The show then proceeds with Azania being taken into special custody by his friend while his group escape as common people. Whereas, the military vehicle is filled with citizens along with Allan Harvey and the brother of the murdered.
Elsewhere, Abel calls Azania stupid for giving him a chance to implicate a state of emergency but the latter just laughs it off and goes on to reveal a bigger plan that he has had on for months. He reveals that his men have already infiltrated Abel’s surroundings as Azania takes over his rein and has a new way of changing the corrupt system.
Coming out from the official building, Azania once again appears on television as he blows up the building behind him and declares a new age for the people who threw away his offer of democracy.

Justice Served began with Azania showing the heroic character that is not nice but is charming and manipulative because he is able to tell us that what he stands for is right. However, as the show goes on we know that this hero is not what we expected and is more like a villain, even becoming one by the end.
Brigadier Mampho on the other hand is a loyal police officer who does not stop even when the corruption and power thrown at her screams injustice. However, once this mother loses her daughter to this very system, she is not one to stay still and is ready to wreak havoc everywhere.
The show is just the beginning of something even bigger and this will show us the truth of the so-called just society.
Will there be Another Season?
With the way Justice Served has ended, we can say that the show has a lot more coming up and this was just the beginning of more chaos and bloodshed. There are too many questions and revelations to be unveiled which definitely point towards another season.
What is it that Azania going to do next, and how many more innocents will be sacrificed? Who are the Paladin and just how powerful are they? Who really killed Mampho’s husband and what was the truth behind it?
The list will go on and we know that they will be answered because this show is not one to miss and we are eagerly looking forward to another season of chaos and manipulation.
