Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 3 Reactions: Fans Are Amazed With the Fabulous Animation and the Brutal Plot Twist

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 3 Reactions from fans remain mixed as most are in love with the animation but sad about the sudden demise of their beloved characters. The second episode of the anime series premiered on July 20, 2023. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 (呪術廻戦 or Sorcery Fight) is directed by Sunghoo Park; the show is animated under MAPPA Studio. With Sayaka Koiso and Tadashi Hiramatsu designing the characters, Yoshimasa Terui is the sole composer of the series. Tatsuya Kitani performed the opening theme, Where Our Blue Is (青のすみか), while Soushi Sakiyama performed the ending theme, Light (燈).

The anime is scheduled for two cours, the first five episodes will adapt the manga’s Hidden Inventory arc, and the eighteen other episodes will showcase the Shibuya arc. Licensed under Crunchyroll, the episodes will be available with English subtitles, and the dubbed version will be released later on.

Based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami, the story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. However, the new season will consist of various aspects of the story which the audience has been wondering about. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

The first few episodes of the new season focus on Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s past lives, where they grew up together in Jujutsu High. Introducing the arc’s main villain Toji Fushiguro who is known as the ‘Sorcerer Killer’ who is after Riko, the Star Plasma Vessel. The main mission of the sorcerers is to keep her safe from any harm until she merges with Tengen.

The third episode of the series contains some of the major plot points that completely change the trajectory of the plot. Gojo and Toji have finally come face to face, which has led to a tragic incident. Moreover, the newly introduced character has also sadly met her fatal demise, which has left everyone confused and wondering what will happen next.

However, the exquisite animation of the series has successfully left the fans in a trance, and no one can get over it yet. The steady build-up and an unpredictable twist have managed to keep everyone on their toes. Theories about what might happen next have taken over social media platforms.
