Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 2 Ending Explained: The second episode of the anime series premiered on July 13, 2023. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 (呪術廻戦 or Sorcery Fight) much-anticipated anime of this season, is finally out, and the fans cannot keep calm. Directed by Sunghoo Park, the show is animated under MAPPA Studio. With Sayaka Koiso and Tadashi Hiramatsu designing the characters, Yoshimasa Terui is the sole composer of the series. Tatsuya Kitani performed the opening theme, Where Our Blue Is (青のすみか), while Soushi Sakiyama performed the ending theme, Light (燈).

The anime is scheduled for two cours, the first five episodes will adapt the manga’s Hidden Inventory arc, and the eighteen other episodes will showcase the Shibuya arc. Licensed under Crunchyroll, the episodes will be available with English subtitles, and the dubbed version will be released later on.

Based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami, the story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. However, the new season will consist of various aspects of the story which the audience has been wondering about. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

Who is Toji Fushiguro?

Toji is introduced as the lead antagonist of the arc and one of Gojo’s enemies. Hailing the same as ‘Sorcerer Killer’, he is one of the most dangerous assassins of the realm. So far, it is shown that he is recruited by Star Religious Group to get ahold of the Star Plasma Vessel, Riko. However, the assignment is not as easy as Gojo is one of the strongest sorcerers of the realm. So, he places a bounty on Riko so that other assassins can wear him down, and Toji is able to attack at the right time.

Who is Toji to Megumi?

In the first episode itself, it is revealed that Toji has the same surname as Megumi, which is, Fushiguro, hinting towards a connection between both characters. Since the present arc is happening in the past, it is assumed that Toji is older than Megumi. In the latest episode, Shiu Kong asks Toji about Megumi, but Toji does not seem to remember him. However, it is believed that Toji is Megumi’s estranged father, whom he lost at a very young age. We will only find out the revelation in the subsequent episodes.

Why did Gojo fail to use Curse Technique Reversal: Red?

While Gojo was fighting with a masked assassin in order to keep Riko safe, he reveals his curse techniques. Due to his inherited ability of limitless, he is able to dodge any attack from his opponents. Though it might seem like an object cannot touch Gojo, but in reality, the object is going through space at an infinitely slow speed. The Curse Technique Lapse is another one of his abilities which makes thye enemies implode. However, while trying to attempt Curse Technique Reversal: Red, he miserably fails. It might be due to inexperience as he is just a high school student and lacks practice.

What happened to Kirou?

Earlier, Kirou was seen fighting with one of the clones of the masked assassin, and Geto was beside her. It is possible that they both parted ways and another assassin looking at the opportunity, kidnapped her. Riko gets a text message of an image of Kirou bounded and gagged.
