Girls On Fire Episode 2 Recap

The JTBC Girls on Fire episode 2 kicked off by continuing the first mission with the next match performance, which was between California Girl, aka Jung Yuri, and Ice Ding, aka Cho Seongkyung. Yuri started the performance with a song originally written by her, Fairytale Ending. Her performance had everything from good vocals to style, and the way she presented on stage even impressed the judges. Then came Seongkyung’s performance; she chose the song Super Moon by YEGNY and performed it very well, especially her high notes, which were effortless.

Being both of them just 18 years old, they both showed a mature performance, making it a little tough for the judges to decide between them. But in the end, Yuri won the match. Then the next match started between Kim Hanbyeol and Lim Okyeon. Hanbyeol chose to perform Missing Child by Lena Park. Her vocals were so strong that they intimidated the other contestants, and she did her best to show the vocal-driven pop ballad.

Her vocal prowess was evident from the start, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
