Jinny’s Kitchen Season 2 Episode 3 Review
The third episode resumes from the night when Woo-shik’s day ended successfully. Seo-jin picks Yu-mi as the next day’s star chef fixing Seo-joon to handle weekends as it will be the hardest. The crew have a short conversation before heading back to their home to rest. Seo-joon cooks ramen for the team to fill their tummies and go to sleep. The next day, they kickstart the preparations with Yu-mi leading the team. Seo-jin goes out to buy iced americano for his team and also brings a burger menu for them to choose and order (how thoughtful).

Compared to the previous day, all the members increase their speed and proceed with pre-preparations given they saw how crowded the restaurant was. They all successfully prepared the ingredients spot-on and opened the restaurant. Within 10 minutes of opening, 4 tables get loaded and groups of customers flood in. Veteran chef Yu-mi remains calm and composed as she rapidly prepares the dishes along with Min-si. The men handle the customers and cater to them while engaging in short conversations and cute interactions.
With more and more customers coming in, they decide to go with a reservation only at dinner time so the people who priorly booked a table can enjoy their dinner as well as the team can peacefully serve them hot food. Apart from this, the split bill option made things easier for the customers to pay for what they ate even if they came as a group. Seo-jin flops in billing properly as he’s new to the technology (anyone in his position would have experienced the same).

He endures a 20,000 won loss as he forgets to add a dish to the bill. The members tease him friendly to lift his spirits up but Seo-jin gets his mind clouded with the loss. As hours pass and the afternoon session ends, Seo-joon and Woo-shik go out to buy groceries as the stock gets over. After they return the team once again starts to work with the preparation for dinner shift. Before the restaurant could even open, many customers come in, even the ones who never reserved.
Panicking, Woo-shik lets them in and then ensures only those who made reservations get in. The crew then decide to let walk-in customers from the next day onwards as reservations make it unfair for most of the customers. The dinner session, as expected, goes smoothly, thanks to Yu-mi and Min-si’s perfect combo. They nail each food on time and do not disappoint the crowd. Seeing how quick Yu-mi is, the other members feel proud.

The night ends peacefully and the episode closes with the next episode’s preview showing Seo-joon taking up the chef’s role and acing his dishes. However, the day doesn’t really go as expected. Regardless, that’s for another episode hence let’s talk about the third one. =In this episode, the team demonstrates increased efficiency and camaraderie. As customers flood in, Yu-mi and Min-si maintain composure and manage the kitchen expertly, despite Seo-jin’s minor billing mishap.
The decision to implement a reservation-only dinner service proves wise, ensuring a smoother operation and enhancing customer experience. Here and there were so many exciting moments of the members dancing and enjoying. It’s always lovely to see them all have such a good vibe and their on-screen presence makes the show entertaining.

Jinny’s Kitchen 2 is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
