IRL: In Real Love Season 2: Has Netflix Renewed the Dating Reality TV Show?

Netflix is slowly becoming a master of reality dating shows, and for Hindi TV show fans, the streaming giant has come out with a show that questions which is better – online or offline?

IRL: In Real Love is a reality TV series hosted by Rannvijay Singha and Gauahar Khan and has 10 episodes, each with a runtime of around 40 minutes. Raghu Ram acts as the director and showrunner of the show. The four singles are Chiragg Khatri, Rohan Arora, Ananya S Rao, and Sakshi Gupta.

Coming from the veins of dating show giants like Love is Blind and Too Hot to Handle and the myriad shows that stem from those, the series gives us four singles who are on the brink of finding love and testing out their connections, and hopefully come out of the show happy and with their forever people.

Will There Be IRL: In Real Love Season 2?

As mentioned earlier, the four singles are on the show to find out whether they will be able to find their perfect matches and also whether online or offline dating is more impactful. In a bid to find their perfect matches, thus, they go on several traditional and online dates to figure out with whom they have the most chemistry.

However, as time progressed for the singles, they realised that genuine affection could be had for both their potential matches. Emotionally heavy decisions plagued some of the contestants, while others had only one person in mind from the first. For others, still, newer entries in the house were the ones who pulled on their heartstrings more. Interestingly, some of the singles who were potential matches for the original four ended up having stronger feelings for each other.

Interpersonal relationships and friendships also form a strong core of the show, wherein Chiragg, Rohan, Ananya and Sakshi become each other’s confidantes since only they can understand the others’ feelings. Thus, the show is not only about finding a romantic partner but also about finding long-lasting friendships beyond the show.

The fun games and dark secrets have seriously caught people’s eyes but has Netflix renewed the show for a season 2?

Well, for now, there is no news about IRL: In Real Love season 2. However, for ardent fans of the show who can’t get enough of the little tidbits of information from Netflix’s promotional videos on their social media channels, it’s going to be tough to let go!
