Instant Dream Home Reactions: Viewers Ask ‘Where Do We Sign Up?’

Instant Dream Home reactions are in about the lifestyle home renovation reality series released by Netflix. It is directed by Anthony B Sacco and produced by Tom Forman and George Verschoor. Orange is the New Black star Danielle Brooks hosts the show with the planning and designing team, which includes Adair Curtis, Erik Curtis, Nick Cutsumpas and Paige Mobley.

There are 8 episodes in the series with a runtime of about 41-47 minutes. In this show, a team of rapid-fire renovators takes big risks and makes painstaking plans to transform families’ homes from top to bottom in just 12 hours. The deserving families get the surprise of their lives when their dilapidated house is transformed to a whole another level.

Home renovation or transformation shows are generally a hit with the audience and if the concept is as unique and time-bound as this show, people got more curious to see, how they pull out the task in 12 hours. The show gets straight into business as the host of the show, Danielle Brooks, greets us from a car, on its way to the location.

The whole team from host to designers and 200+ people gets to the location before the homeowners get out of the house and the team sweeps right in, as soon as they leave. With a great start in the first episode, the story of the homeowners has been making the viewers emotional. Looking at Beth Anne getting excited for the house that she can’t even see properly, made many cry ugly tears.

And it has got many people thinking if their home renovation should take so much as 6 months to a year. Well, I guess you gotta ask your contractors and builders if they can make it happen in less time too. While the host brings a dynamic energy to the show, viewers also felt anxious about her handling the tasks, that went wrong at times.

Meanwhile, the designing team seem to be getting a fan following from already known Adair Curtis to his surname-sake Eric Curtis, people are eager to know more about it. The transformation series has also got the viewers asking where they could sign up or nominate someone for the next season. A Season 2 might be possible looking at its popularity, but will it come back with more big surprises on absolutely another level?
