Seong-ju prison is not any normal prison. It is a big gambling house with three levels. In the first level, the prisoners gamble with cigarette boxes. The police guards scout the good players from the first level and make them play in the second level. The second level deals with real money and in this, the police guards also bet on the players. The best of the players get to play with Jang Sun-oh at the highest level. Big professors and businessmen play in the third level with the inmates.

Yo-han has started gambling at the first level and his aim is to reach the third level and get close to Jang Sun-oh. Yo-han still hasn’t been able to get a good hand in gambling. He has learnt to gamble with the Asian cards but the inmates play with the western cards. Jo Dae-ho’s men are still bothering Yo-han even after the gang leader made a deal with Jo Dae-ho. On the other hand, his grandmother is not safe either.

Insider Episode 2 Ending

Yo-han’s friend Hong Tae-sun calls his grandmother to meet at the judicial office and traps her in a net. Together with Jo Dae-ho, they murder Yo-han’s grandmother and frame it as a suicide. They did that to get the house deed but his grandmother had swallowed it before dying. Yo-han attends her funeral and confronts Tae-sun about her murder. Other than his grandmother and him, only Tae-sun and Dae-ho knew about the deed. Tae-sun agrees that he had planned it because he knew Yo-han was going to expose his uncle in the gambling case.

Insider Episode 2 Review

Insider Episode 2 is thrilling, suspenseful and action-packed. Nowhere, does it feel like it is going overboard. The gambling scenes are detailed and life inside a prison is portrayed in a way it doesn’t look overwhelming to the viewers. Kang Ha-neul has a good job in playing the role of Yo-han.
