Indu Season 3 Review
Hoichoi’s Indu has annoyed us enough with its twisty story that goes nowhere and twists and turns without any answer. No more of that because, thankfully, we get some answers this year. Indu 3 ends Indrani’s (and our) quest to find the truth once and for all, and, although the season is a bit slow, we finally get to a satisfying end.
The series starts right after Charu’s murder from last season and showcases Indu getting into verbal altercations, diving deep into secrets and telling the police what to do because clearly they have no idea about anything. I have seen many stupid police officers in the media, but Samaddar probably takes the cake since he just sits there and lets a random woman in a murder house call the shots. It’s actually quite crazy.

Either way, the satisfying answers, as with most of Hoichoi’s shows, come right at the end in a “roundtable” style setup with Feluda Indrani telling everyone what happened in the house for all of these dead bodies to drop. It’s a fine explanation and believable as well. Although from a murderer’s perspective, everyone fumbles a bit too much, the truth is probably right under everyone’s noses.
Either way, Ishaa Saha carries this series on her shoulders, and she’s, as always, great. I loved her in the role, and she will leave you rooted. From her mannerisms to her charms, the actor does a good job of holding on to our interest. As mentioned earlier, I found the season to have some unnecessary sequences that bog the runtime down. With the answers so close, viewers will find themselves restless, increasing everyone’s annoyance.

That being said, the answers will leave you a bit stumped, though. I think I didn’t expect the perpetrator to be the person who was shown, but I believed the logic and how the crimes were committed, so I guess that’s a win in my book. I also enjoyed how they used all the characters and tied the different seasons together. Several callback moments will connect the different things that were said and will leave you invested.
Final Thoughts

In the end, this was an entertaining season that tied a neat bow to the story. I was invested in Indu and Sujato’s relationship a little more than I’d like to let on, but I am glad that they ended it where they did. Overall, a good season.
