When is Indian Predator The Butcher of Delhi Coming on Netflix? Here’s All You Need to Know About the True-Crime Documentary

Indian Predator The Butcher of Delhi is an upcoming true-crime documentary series, set to be released on Netflix this month. Produced by VICE India, the series is directed by renowned film-maker Ayesha Sood with Srusti Jain and Nandita Gupta serving as the series producer and creative producer, respectively.

In fact, the Indian Predator is set to be a series which will showcase different true-crime events that terrorised the country. The Butcher of Delhi is the first of three parts that will be released shortly after. Although, it isn’t mentioned in which case the series is based but we can deduce that it will follow the story of serial killer Chandrakant Jha.

As seen in the trailer, the cast will include Delhi Police officers and other investigating officials and journalists that covered the case closely, in real-time. We also see that the people involved in solving the case telling about how they hadn’t seen such a heinous crime in many years of their service.

Indian Predator The Butcher of Delhi Plot/Synopsis

The official synopsis of the series reads – A series of mutilated bodies and taunting notes left outside a Delhi jail sends police hunting for a seasoned killer with a grudge against the system. The upcoming docu-series will trace the story of a notorious serial killer who ruthlessly dismembered his victims and scattered their body parts around the city.

In the trailer, we can hear a distinct voice of presumably the killer who has left a dead body and a letter outside the Tihar Jail entrance. Followed by snippets of interviews and statements of the chaos that ensued after that. Recently, another teaser video that contains the letter of the serial killer was also released. It shows what all he had written in the letter to the police.

The Docuseries is scheduled to be released on 20 July 2022 on Netflix. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
