After one and a half year break, production houses are all geared up for new releases. Eternals is just a month away from its release date in India and worldwide. A lot of Indian fans didn’t get a chance to watch Black Widow and Shang Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings in Theatres. Disney India has now announced a confirmed release date for movies in India for 2021-2022.
Disney India shared ‘Theatrical Release Slate 2021 – 2022’ today. In the slate, they’ve share Indian release dates for movies like Thor: Love and Thunder aka Thor 4, Wakanda Forever, The Marvels, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and many more others.
In their official statement, the production house said – “Disney India announces an exciting slate for 2021-2022, kickstarting with Big Ticket Diwali Entertainer, Marvel Studios’ ‘Eternals’!
Tentpole titles include Eternals, Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, sequel to Avatar, and many more.
Disney India today announced an exciting line-up of theatrical titles, beginning with the Super Hero spectacle Eternals, releasing this Diwali in 6 languages – English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.”

Meanwhile, theatres are reopening in Maharashtra from October 2022. A lot of cinema lovers in the state are happy with the decision as they will get a chance to watch their upcoming Marvel movie (Eternals) on the big screen. The film stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie.
Along with movies, fans got a chance to watch 4 MCU shows – WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki and What If. Their next digital release is Jeremy Renner and Hailey Steinfeld’s Hawkeye.
