This episode begins, and we see some shocking developments. Apparently, Woo-seong really begged his company CEO to let the Gold Boys release a full-length album. But instead of that, Ra-ik was booked for another tour. This not only set back the progress of the Gold Boys, but also put unnecessary pressure on Ra-ik, who would have to perform relentlessly, and his income would be divided amongst the other members of the Gold Boys. Though this is a very good proposition for the other members, this is definitely a loss for Ra-ik, and that is something that does not sit well with Woo-seong.

Thus, to get himself and everyone from Gold Boys out of the problem, he goes to another production house and promises them that the Gold Boys will shift to that company. However, the person with whom he made this promise records his voice and sends it to the current CEO of Gold Boys, creating a messy situation. He did this because he wanted to pressure Woo-seong into coming to his production house at any cost. The current CEO of the Gold Boys also threatened Woo-seong for this and reminded him how he would now be responsible for messing up Ra-ik’s career.

When the CEO gets asked why he did not reveal this to the police, he claims that he was worried about Ra-ik. However, the truth is that he was worried about himself, and that becomes very apparent for Ra-ik. On the other hand, Ra-ik gets called by his ex-girlfriend, Hye-joo, who again tells him to come back to her because he will not be able to live a normal life anymore. Ra-ik flat out rejects her and tells her to forget about him.

Later that day, Ra-ik, Se-na, and Chung-jae feast on some food Se-na brought and have a good time together. Here, Chung-jae tries to tell Ra-ik that Se-na is not in love with him and only cares for him because she used to be his fan. Ra-ik agrees to this but also claims that he will not be able to have a normal relationship with her anymore, hinting at his growing feelings for her. Following this, both Ra-ik and Se-na go to visit Ra-ik’s school and the places he used to visit when he was still a child. They really have a fun time on this outing that could be considered a date.

They also go to an aquarium because that was Se-na’s favourite place, and because Ra-ik has never been there. While they were enjoying the view, some fangirls noticed them, making them hide. This obviously resulted in a slightly intimate moment that quickly gets dismissed. Following this, they go to the place where a young Ra-ik first saw a young Se-na. In the end, the Ra-ik drops a bomb when he suddenly confesses to Se-na about his love.

I obviously like today’s episode because of how much time the series took to marinate the relationship between the two leads. They did not rush anything and kept the mystery as the most important aspect of the show. Also, I suspect that Ra-ik’s ex-girlfriend, Hye-joo, is the one who killed Woo-seong.
