How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) Season 4 Review
In this Netflix dark-comedy series, Moritz is back home and extremely confused about the state of things after spending 4 years in prison. The series continues to be a funny and engaging affair, taking insane turns in bursts to remind us of the quirkiness that made it a smash hit in 2019. Referencing the Netflix documentary more often than not, the series is utterly hilarious and sometimes pathetically awkward, making you feel bad for Moritz’s helplessness and his desperation to win Lenny’s affection back. Along with, of course, getting back his business.
Moritz’s confusion at first and his desperate hope to get back his one true friend are a sadly relatable part of the series. With a new “friend” provocatively trying to ruin chances of reconciliation but also making it irresistible to say no, Moritz’s back and forth is one of the best parts of this season. It’s utterly raw and makes you root for our protagonist, albeit in a confusing way. The other character joining Moritz this season and trying to get his attention is Ersan, Moritz’s prison mate, whose scary outward appearance might fool a lot of people because he turns out to be a rather softy soon after.

Moritz’s road to finding himself and overcoming the hurdles in his life faces a ton of obstacles and the fast-paced, cheeky narrative is very fun to watch. It’s relatable, sometimes sweet and mostly funny with an air of naughtiness in the mix. The series does a fantastic job of seamlessly moving the plot forward while keeping things fresh, bringing forth the different problems in Moritz’s life while also solidifying him among his peers, most of whom have moved forward with their lives.
His insistence on doing something more with his life and desoeration to seek revenge brings forth other issues that are hilarious yet stupid. You feel for the guy, but he honestly digs his own grave. His reasoning makes sense, but it’s just so unnecessary that you pity his ambitions at times. However, one thing the series definitely is, is that it’s extremely sharp-witted. From showcasing the relationship between Lenny and Moritz in the most hilarious way possible to describing how even the best relationships sometimes need to come to an end, the series does a fantastic job of bringing forth real-world, young problems in the most entertaining way.

On top of everything else, there’s the fantastic performances. Maximilian Mundt is simply fantastic as Moritz and rides a fine line between cheeky, stupid and asshole. There’s an innocence to his character below the naked ambition that is very endearing to watch. Other than him, Danilo Kamperidis continues to be a ray of sunshine and, as the family man, is as sweet as ever. Lastly, Damian Hardung as Daniel, is the new CEO with a lot of dreams yet without that many brain cells. These characters are very easy to like and easier still to laugh with (or at) and will leave you glued to the screen. Of course, the short runtime helps.
Final Thoughts

How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) Season 4 continues to be hilarious and unhinged in the best ways possible. If you’ve loved the first three seasons, this one’s definitely a great addition. For those who are still on the fence, it’s definitely one of the better shows on the streaming service.
