His Dark Materials Season 3 Premiere Reactions: Fans Are Thrilled to Return to the World of Dust and Daemons

Fans are thrilled as the first two episodes of His Dark Materials Season 3 have dropped and, we were not expecting anything else. Although this season which is the final one in the series is going to be shorter than the previous two, Twitter is buzzing with overwhelming excitement to get back in the loop of dust, daemons and doom of a war that is heading our way.

Based on the trilogy of novels of the same name by Philip Pullman, His Dark Materials is produced by Bad Wolf and New Line Productions, for BBC One and HBO. The cast includes Dafne Keen as Lyra Belacqua, Ruth Wilson as Marisa Coulter, Will Keen as Father Hugh MacPhail, Gary Lewis as Thorold, James McAvoy as Lord Asriel Belacqua, Ruta Gedmintas as Serafina Pekkala, Amir Wilson as Will Parry, Jade Anouka as Ruta Skadi, Simone Kirby as Dr Mary Malone and Andrew Scott as Colonel John Parry/Stanislaus Grumman. Lorne Balfe is the show composer with Jack Thorne as the writer.

The first two episodes of His Dark Materials Season 3 have a runtime of 50-60 minutes and deals with Lyra being imprisoned by Marisa and Will and Asriel looking for her. The episode ended on a twisted note making us wonder what will happen to Will and Lyra next in the upcoming episodes.
