It’s Sydney Sweeney’s birthday and we’re affirmative that “she’s never been happier”. The September 12-born Virgo star has turned into quite the mainstream celebrity ever since her appearance primarily in Netflix’s Everything Sucks and HBO’s Euphoria. Both the shows have accentuated her inner fashionista and made heads turn on red carpet events.
Memes took over Twitter and Instagram after the much anticipated final showdown of Alexa Demie’s Maddy and Sweeney’s Cassie on Euphoria Season 2, and though Maddy may have won that smackdown, there’s a lesser known fact about Sydney Sweeney that needs to be uncovered. Her chic and glamorous fashion choices aside, the actress has a TikTok account where you can see her fixing vintage cars and wait for it… she’s an MMA fighter.
Now going back to all the projects that she’s previously worked on – Sweeney was already guest starring in some grand and well-recognized TV series early on, such as Pretty Little Liars, Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy, and 90210. However, her presence switched to the grand scale only with her performance on Everything Sucks as Emaline Addario, then the HBO miniseries Sharp Objects came along, wherein she recurs as Alice. In May 2022, Sydney Sweeney touched down her first Met Gala invite, to which she sported a white gown inspired by bridal outlook and custom-made for her by Tory Burch. Although the overall look is quite casual since she didn’t opt for any jewelry, her twinkling pink mini skirt is a dream in this ’90s-inspired aesthetic. She won four MTV awards that night and if Cassie was looking at her accepting them in such a classy outfit, she would’ve been proud.

The Glamour Mag Emmy Nominee Luncheon (2022)
In a rather composed and tranquil get-up, Sweeney swore by the look of minimalism at the Emmy Nominee Luncheon, as opposed to her rather exuberant previous choices. A floral design covers the entire extent of her ankle-length dress for which she turned to Tory Burch yet again. The precise low-cut corset fit her bodice and fell into the A-line skirt formation. Sweeney’s role as Cassie Howard in Euphoria and her critically acclaimed performance in The White Lotus have been her two most prominent deliveries to date. Now, she’s moving on to a new chapter in her acting career as she’s joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel movie Madame Web alongside Dakota Johnson and Emma Robert. The film will expand the Sony Spiderverse and is likely to release in 2023.
In addition to that, she’s also posted about another novel project The Registration which will be adapting the novel of the same name. She’ll be joining Brad Fuller as the co-producer of the film other than starring in it.
