Born on May 12, Rami Malek is an actor we all know and love. From Primetime Emmy to the Academy and Golden Globes, the actor has it all in his name as he has impressed the audiences as well as the critics with his work time and again. Malek began his career in acting initially with the theatre by taking part in plays in the New York City theatre and, came to the big screen by being a supporting actor, most notably in the Night at the Museum film trilogy.

Mr. Robot (2015 – 2019)

Created by Sam Esmail for USA Network, Mr. Robot is a thriller series that stars Rami Malek in a central role. We see Malek play the role of cybersecurity engineer and hacker, Elliot Alderson, who suffers from social anxiety disorder and clinical depression and is recruited by an insurrectionary anarchist to join a group of hackers that aim to destroy all debt records of E Corp, which happens to be a the largest conglomerate in the world. Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)

Depicting the life of the legendary Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the iconic British rock band- Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody is a modern classic with brilliant acting performances, incredible score and captivating visuals. Rami Malek played the role of Freddie Mercury and, gained praise worldwide along with bagging the award for Best Actor at the 91st Academy Awards. The film is streaming now on Apple TV+.

BoJack Horseman (2017-18)

In a small but, influential role, Malek voiced the character of Flip McVicker in everyone’s favourite BoJack Horseman. Even though the actor was only in a total of ten episodes, he made his presence felt in the adult animated Netflix show by Raphael Bob-Waksberg. You can check it out now on Netflix.
