Whiplash and La La land famed Damien Chazelle seems to have roped in Margot Robbie to play actor Clara Bow in his upcoming period drama directorial titled Babylon. It is no news that Margot Robbie is set to portray the world-famous doll by Mattel in a Greta Gerwig directorial! It would mark the doll’s first live-action film after a series of animated projects released on it over the decades. Ryan Gosling is going to play Ken, the male counterpart of Barbie. Amsterdam
Another film with an ensemble cast like no other, Amsterdam is an upcoming period drama directed, produced and written by David O. Russell. The cast for the film includes Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Rami Malek, Chris Rock, Zoe Saldaña, Anya Taylor-Joy, Michael Shannon, Taylor Swift, Timothy Olyphant, Alessandro Nivola, Matthias Schoenaerts, Andrea Riseborough, Mike Myers, and Robert De Niro.
The period drama is going to incorporate aspects of a crime thriller in it. The story will revolve around three friends- a doctor, a nurse and an attorney, who become prime suspects in a murder committed in the 1930s. The film will get a theatrical release on November 4, 2022.
