Jim Jarmusch’s directorial Only Lovers Left Alive is a romantic vampire horror flick, that is one of a Halloween kind. It surpasses the emotional component usually found in the genre and centers around a love triangle between these gothic creatures.

The film stars Tom Hiddleston, Tilda Swinton, Mia Wasikowska, John Hurt, Jeffrey Wright, and Anton Yelchin. Notably, Recorded Picture Company and Pandora Film served as the production houses.

The vampire-hunting fantasy flick deals with the infamous monster hunter, Van Helsing, who is sent to stop Count Dracula in Transylvania, from realizing his true potential for terror and destruction.

It’s a must-watch Halloween movie if you love adventure layered with horror. The movie stars Hugh Jackman in the titular role, along with Kate Beckinsale, Richard Roxburgh, Elena Anaya, Robbie Coltrane, and Josie Maran.

Stephen Sommers wrote and directed the film as a tribute to classic Universal horror films. Moreover, the character of the movie is inspired by Bram Stoker’s Novel Dracula. Sommers films and Stillking Films were the production companies behind the film.

Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement’s mockumentary take on the personal lives of vampires, is one of the hilarious versions of the subject. It features three blood-sucking yet seemingly friendly vampires that share a flat together as roommates. This flick will surely add a comical horror taste to your Halloween.

The film is based on the 1976 Novel of the same name by Anne Rice. It was directed by Irish director Neil Jordan and produced by David Geffen Stephen Woolley.

Starring Gary Oldman as Count Dracula, along with Winona Ryder as his reincarnated love interest, the film explores the revenge saga of Dracula, layered with gothic romance.

The film was produced under the banner of American Zoetrope and released in the year 1992.
