Green Mothers Club Episode 12 Best Moments: Sweet and Warm

Green Mothers’ Club (그린마더스클럽) is a Korean drama TV series directed Ra Ha-na and starring Lee Yo-won, Choo Ja-hyun, Kim Gyu-ri, Jang Hye-jin and Joo Min-kyung, alongside other cast members. The series has 16 episodes and Green Mothers Club episode 12 is titled Can Adults Become Friends Without Motives Too? and has a runtime of 68 minutes.

Filled with thrill, drama and a lot of mom squabbles and with only 4 episodes left we are still very confused regarding where exactly the series is going. And that’s exactly what we need, at this point. In the last episode, there are a lot of sweet moments where Chun-hui and Eun-pyo realise that they need each other more than they thought and are going through similar situations – essentially, the two turn over a new leaf and try to figure out their lives with their kids and how to make it better. Of course, that means that there are several sweet moments that the episode gives us that makes us see Chun-hui, especially, in a new light.

Chun-hui goes out grocery shopping with her kids

Yes, I know this is a mundane activity that shouldn’t matter much but I have never seen Chun-hui and her kids be this free around each other talking about absolutely random stuff. Her interactions that we’ve seen with her kids are almost always about studies and how they should do more, but this small and mundane moment feels so heartwarming to watch. Especially the smiles on the kids’ faces – so genuine!

Yu-bin is sympathetic towards Dong-seok

While the adults continue to throw nasty digs at the others, there’s a tremendous level of maturity and understanding that Yu-bin shows Dong-seok when they are playing together. When Yeong-bin innocently asks Dong-seok why he hasn’t been interacting with anyone while they play video games, Yu-bin comes to his rescue and tells her brother that Dong-seok just hasn’t been feeling like interacting with anyone because he’s going through a tough time right now. Considering how we’ve seen Yu-bin, this is a great moment of growth for her and way better than the disappointing way in which the moms act.

The camping

Although, yes, the camping was a ploy for Chun-hui to get away from her drug pimp, however, the emotions that we saw between the kids and the mothers are nothing short of heartwarming. With both the moms opening up about their problems and fears and the kids just being allowed to be kids – it’s a great watch.

Green Mothers’ Club is streaming on Netflix.
