Gossip Girl Season 2 Episode 3: Great Reputations
If the title of this Gossip Girl episode reminds you of Taylor Swift’s End Game, we cannot blame you because the episode really excited the game and took us to a new place this time. After the fun dinner, Zoya’s complications with her father, Julien’s being good arc and Monet entering her villain era, the first two episodes of Gossip Girl Season 2 seemed a lot, in both a good and bad way. But, episode three is what sets the tone just right for the series.
We clearly see how Julien is trying to walk on the path of being a good and considerate person while Zoya is the sister constantly finding food to put in her mind that is ruining her relationship with her father. In Gossip Girl Season 2 Episode 3, we see Julien trying to mend her relationship with Obie by targeting Grace for her newfound niceness.
Unfortunately, Monet’s target is the same person but, for a completely different reason. Thus, starts a Blair-Serena show-off between Monet and Julien with Grace at the centre. On the other hand, we have Zoya trying to uncover what her father is doing who plans them again in the middle of a dispute.

Although, it is the Amnesty Ball at the end of the episode that ties all the characters up in the same segment, including Obie, whose character truly needs more. We get to see Julien’s needy side to be in Obie’s good books as we see the light of being righteous in Monet for bringing out the truth of a queerbaiting character to the whole world. Zoya’s dominance, Obie’s submission and the layers of grey in Grace too make up for an episode that was truly well done.
