Ever felt like you were an old soul trapped in a young body? Well, Ginny Miller can relate, and she’s returning with her family in Ginny and Georgia Season 2 this January! Created by Sarah Lampert for Netflix, the heartfelt teen dramedy is ready to pull on your emotional strings yet again after its first season that dropped back in February 2021.
The former season had ten episodes, with each of their runtime ranging between 50-58 minutes. Produced by Claire Welland, the series’ music credits go to Lili Haydn and Ben Bromfield. The last outing was all about the 30+ single mother, Georgia Miller moving to a small new town with her children – Ginny and Austin.

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Plot/Storyline
Much like the 2000s hit show Gilmore Girls, this too focusses on the titular mother-daughter duo’s life together. Netflix describes the series as follows: “In this emotional drama series, a free-spirited mom with a checkered past moves her kids to a small New England town for a fresh start”.
Both the mother and daughter are clearly still having a hard time adjusting to the new change, especially with the baggage of the past weighing down their moves. There’s a dark side to Georgia that Ginny and her brother aren’t acquainted with, and it only keeps getting tougher for Ginny to put all her dark thoughts at bay. Her “broken family” may be crazier than ever, but it all bonds them together and pulls them closer to each other anyway.

And like, Georgia says, “I’m not normal. I’m a damaged, trailer-park, teen-mom murderer”, and so matter what happens, no matter how unhinged the outside world may be, at least they have each other.
