The Funniest Moments From Indian Matchmaking Season 3

1. Priya should open a salon!

Sima Aunty insists on Priya meeting Alick in the first episode, but after a little bit of uncomfortable deliberation, Priya turns down the request to meet him. Initially, Priya had made it clear that she wanted a man who has hair because of her self-consciousness surrounding her own hair. However, Sima Aunty is left annoyed at Priya’s insistence and frustratedly exclaims that Priya should just open a hair salon and surround herself with hair because of her hangups. It’s absolutely hilarious!

2. Professor Sima knows best!

In the same episode, Sima Aunty meets one of Priya’s potential matches, Bobby, who is a very enthusiastic and positive maths teacher. His positive attitude and outlook rub off on Sima Aunty, who calls herself a relationship professor who can fix relationships like a pro. It’s quite a fun scene to watch, and Bobby’s excited attitude is also quite sweet.

3. Sima Aunty is left confused as to why Vikash’s criteria includes a Brahmin girl

Although Sima Aunty is always telling everyone to adjust and compromise and let go of their needs in order to settle for someone presented in front of them, it’s thus quite ironical when she is left stunned at Vikash’s criteria of wanting a Brahmin wife, especially when he doesn’t adhere to any rules of the religion himself.

4. A card reader is able to read Priya’s destiny from India, while Priya is in the UK

In episode 5, Sima aunty goes to a card reader in order to figure out what destiny has in store for Priya. The card reader miraculously is able to tell her when she will get married and what needs to happen before reaching that goal.

5. She’s marrying a person, not a height

In order to make her clients agree to whomever she is choosing for them, Sima Aunty asks Pavneet not to think about the height of the man she will go on a date with. It is to be kept in mind that both she and her parents want Pavneet to marry a tall boy since she herself is 6 feet tall. Plus, she is also aware of how men feel uncomfortable around her height and mentions that she doesn’t want anyone who would take it to their ego.

However, Sima Aunty is left baffled that Pavneet won’t listen to her and, in episode 5, mentions this rather funny line.
