It has been 16 years since this loved American sitcom went off the air. Since then, Friends has managed to keep up its fanbase and has grown its viewership. The cast reunion was recently cancelled due to the pandemic, which left fans waiting for an indefinite period of time. Definitely, it hasn’t been our day, our week, our month, or even our year. However, 16 years after the final episode aired, Friends: The Official Cookbook, has been announced, due for release on September 22, 2020.
The cookbook will feature over 70 recipes with different options for chefs of all levels, created by chef Amanda Yee and is inspired by moments from the show.

For all of us who are die-hard Friends fans, it’s finally time to cook Monica Geller’s Moist Maker Sandwich or the big fat Thanksgiving feast, or Phoebe’s Grandma’s cookies, or Joey’s favourite Meatball Sub or any recipe we loved on the show. Though the reason for this surprise is still unknown – what drove the makers to come up with a cookbook after 16 long years is a mystery. However, it’s available for pre-order on Amazon.
