Kang-hyun and I-soo visit the actor Nam-su who acted along with Yura in the ongoing movie shoot. They learn that he didn’t kill Yura as he was with another woman during the night of the murder. They also learn that Yura has a dirty secret about Nam-su and that those two quarrelled the night of the murder. However, DNA results show that neither Nam-su nor Yeong-hwan is the killer. Finally, they move to the final suspect, a veteran actress.

The cops learn from the makeup artist of the veteran actress that she hates young actresses as she feels jealous of them. They also previously find a video of the actress slapping Yura. Joon-young collects the hair strands from the hairbrush of the veteran actress and goes to check the DNA. Meanwhile, I-soo and Kang-hyun visit the veteran actress. Right before they see the actress, they receive a message from Joon-young stating that the DNA of the actress matches with that of the nail they found in Yura’s body.

Flex X Cop Episode 9 Review

The episode’s case looks super cool because the way they first showed a vintage sort of scene only to reveal it’s a movie shoot seemed promising. It’s nice to see so many suspects coming in and the rush to find the real killer in the upcoming episode. Moreover, we’re also seeing the lifestory of I-soo and his mother’s death. There are chances of his mother’s suicide being a murder because why would a strong woman like her decide to take her life? What if she was hypnotised to drown herself by Seung-ju’s mother? What if Seung-ju’s mother paid a psychiatrist to do the hypnosis?

Seung-ju has been looking quite upset for quite a while. He definitely knows something about I-soo’s mother’s death. What is he hiding? Is he really someone who loves I-soo or is he lowkey jealous of his younger stepbrother? All these questions will be answered as we dig deep into the forthcoming episodes.
