It delves into eight different stories set in various parts of North America. The cases explored include incidents in Pascagoula, Mississippi; Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana; Lake Lanier in Georgia; Mount Shasta in California; across Washington State; and in the Salish Sea in British Columbia. The series engages in thorough discussions about what transpired, questioning whether it’s reality or merely a narrative concocted by humans. While it doesn’t provide definitive answers, it certainly leaves a lasting impression on one’s beliefs.
All the cases that have been shown are quite interesting; some of them will shock you, while others may feel repetitive and could have been avoided. The interviews with both the people involved in these cases and the experts on both sides of the discussion are quite interesting and full of dread.
Each episode of this captivating investigative docuseries is just really unbelievable. From the spine-tingling encounters that set the stage in the inaugural episode, to the perplexing vanishings that baffle the mind in the subsequent chapters, and onto the chilling hauntings that shroud long-standing cold cases in mystery, each instalment unveils a tapestry of inexplicable phenomena. Delve deep into the realms of the uncanny as this series fearlessly navigates through a myriad of haunting mysteries, leaving no stone unturned in its quest for truth and understanding.

I had an issue with some episodes of this show because they lacked enough meaningful content to fill their runtime. As a result, they included unrelated information just to stretch the stories out. It seemed like they were prioritizing entertainment over presenting the material like a documentary. Although the mysteries weren’t solved cases, presenting them as they actually are would have been more interesting and avoided unnecessary filler.
The first two episodes were engaging. The first one explored the stories of two men who claimed to have been abducted by aliens in the 1970s, while the second focused on the ghosts of Myrle Plantation. These episodes had a clear structure from beginning to end, especially the haunted story, which was filled with chilling testimonies that would give anyone goosebumps. The episode about the blob started off intriguingly but eventually became ridiculous and unsatisfying, leaving viewers with more questions than answers.
As the series progresses, it starts to feel lengthy, with repetitive storylines stretching over more than three episodes. There are frequent mentions of UFO encounters and many moments that seem unnecessary. Initially, the series grabs your attention, but as it goes on, it can become tiresome to finish.
I wouldn’t call the series entirely bad or unwatchable, but some stories seem to wander off track without proper grounding. The context of these stories might make you question your beliefs in aliens and the supernatural. For instance, in one episode discussing a sea monster, the woman recounting her experience admits uncertainty about whether what she saw was real or just her imagination.
