Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore trailer is now out. The threequel of the Fantastic Beasts franchise brings back the star cast Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, Katherine Waterston. Actor Mads Mikkelsen has joined the wizarding world as Gellert Grindelwald.
In the second film, we see how the dark powers have risen as Grindelwald uses magic to increase his force. In Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore trailer, we see Albus Dumbledore asking his loyal student Newt Scamander to trust him as they plan to deal with the Dark wizard Grindelwald. Newt and his friends are all in for the mission, which isn’t short of troubles and threats.
Grindelwald wants to control the wizarding world and launch an attack on the Muggles. It will take a strong force to stop him while we also learn some secrets about Dumbledore. In the trailer, Dumbledore asks Newt and others to trust him. We meet Dumbledore’s brother, Credence, with long hair fighting alongside Grindelwald. Jacob, a muggle, also gets a wand from Dumbledore, and he also meets his lover Queenie.
The trailer description reads, “Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) is aware that Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen), a powerful Dark wizard, is plotting to gain control of the wizarding world. He entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches, and one courageous Muggle baker on a risky expedition, where they battle Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers and encounter old and new animals. But how long can Dumbledore stay on the sidelines when the stakes are so high?”

The trailer has all the elements we expect from the wizarding world like Harry Potter – friendships, magic, dark magic and excitement. While Johnny Depp impressed us as Grindelwald, we can’t wait to see how Mads Mikkelsen plays the iconic villain. He looks promising in the trailer.
