All to Know About Netflix Kdrama Revelations

Revelations Kdrama Plot

Revelations follows a kidnapping case that is slowly destroying the lives of those involved. Pastor Min-chan, whose son was kidnapped, is devoted to his faith and focuses on spreading god’s word and establishing new congregations. His faith makes him want to help anyone who walks in through the church doors. Thus, one day, when Yang-rae walks through the doors of his church, he is overjoyed to find another lost soul to help him get back on the right track. Unfortunately, he figures out soon enough that this is not just anyone — this man is an ex-convict with an ankle monitor. As he grapples with judgment against him, he suddenly receives a divine revelation — Yang-rae is the man who kidnapped his son. Convinced that god has given him this revelation so that he can deliver justice, he takes matters into his own hands.

On the other side of this case is Detective Yeon-hui who is out to find out what happened to Min-chan’s son and the culprit behind his heinous crime. Yeon-hui’s past demons constantly haunt her, particularly the memory of her sister’s brutal murder. However, she doesn’t let it affect her keen ability to investigate the cases that land on her lap and deliver justice. However, the kidnapping case hits a bit too close to home as she desperately seeks out Yang-rae and, as if fate wants her to look into Min-chan for something, constantly pulls her towards him.

Will Yeon-hui figure out Min-chan’s secret? Blurring the lines between sinner and saviour, Revelations makes us question what is right and wrong in every moment.
