End of the Road Trailer: A Road Trip to hell With Queen Latifah

Netflix has released a new trailer for the Queen Latifah starrer End of the Road. This movie is packed with action, drama and thrill, continue reading to find everything about the trailer. Millicent Shelton of 30 Rock directed the film. It is based on a film adaptation written by David Loughery out of an earlier draft written by Christopher Moore. Loughery has made a name for himself in the thriller genre with works such as The Intruder, Obsessed, and Fatale.

End of the Road stars Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Beau Bridges, Mychala Faith Lee, Shaun Dixon, and Frances Lee McCain alongside Queen Latifah.

The 2-minute trailer begins with a fast-paced chase scene in the desert and flashes of a grief-stricken Brenda before returning audiences to the events that led to her distress. She’s a widow who has recently lost her job, and
makes the decision to relocate her family across the country in order to begin a new and more satisfying life.

The family of four is seen travelling down a lonely road surrounded by miles and miles of desert (including Brenda’s brother, played by Ludacris). Their discussions disclose that the journey has lasted three and a half hours and that their destination is Houston, a city that the youngest member of the family appears to be unfamiliar with.

Brenda’s brother expresses his reservations about their decision to embark on the journey as the journey progresses; regrettably, his fears are proven right when they stop at a roadside motel and encounter the killing of an unidentified person.

What starts out as a family trying to do the right thing becomes much more complicated when Brenda’s brother picks up a sack of cash belonging to the rampaging shooter who appears to be determined to reclaim what is rightfully his. Despite the remorse of one of its own, the close-knit family will group together just to protect each other from the murderer.

Every once in a while, we all require a movie to get our adrenaline pumping… It’s not always easy to tell whether a film is good or bad, but the trailer for this Queen Latifah movie sure do look promising.
