Emmys 2022 is finally here to celebrate the impeccable talent of TV and the web. Hosted by Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson, the 74th Emmys 2022 is being held at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. From Succession with 25 nominations to Ted Lasso and The White Lotus with 20 nominations, respectively, it was a historic night with Squid Game taking two wins as well.
The award ceremony for Emmys 2022 was filled with some good comedic sketches from the host to the presenters and some good viral songs of the moment that made everyone groove, courtesy of Grammy Award-winning artist Zedd who was the DJ for the evening. John Legend also performed “Pieces” off his new album Legend for the “in memoriam” segment of the show.
While Michaell Keaton won his first ever Emmy for his role in the Hulu series Dopesick, the show Ted Lasso took home the Outstanding Comedy Series for the second consecutive year and Succession took a big win by snagging the award for Outstanding Drama Series.
