The reason why Pillai is testifying against him in court is that he used to work for Xavier, in his factory as well. One day he was tasked with taking some documents to his house, where he heard the screaming voice of a young girl begging for the door to be opened. Pillai tries to help and open the window pane to see what’s happening.

What he sees inside is a girl running here and there to find an escape, while Xavier is sitting right there, enjoying her plight. The girl’s younger sister is there as well. On seeing Pillai peeking from the window, the girl asks for his help but instead, he runs away in fear, and is caught running by Xavier as well.

After much suspense about his intentions, we finally see him trying to kill Pillai when Advocate Aswathy tells him that he is a convicted murderer. The events go as planned and the ATM is demolished by the truck goons. But as the news is being broadcasted, we see that Pillai is alive and well with Eesho.

Here the story takes a backtrack and reveals that the contract killer is actually Shivan, who is the father of the little girl who was molested by her teacher and she with her mother, committed suicide. He was sent back from Dubai without actually telling him about the unfortunate news and when he got back he was shocked to the core.

After a few days, a relative of her wife came and told the truth about the molestation case and who was accused etc. Enraged with the revelation Shivan decides to take revenge on both the witness peon and the accused teacher by hanging them to their deaths. That’s how he ends up in jail, where his inmate is Sura, a criminal that kills people on contract.

When Shivan hears that Sura is contracted to kill Pillai and knowing the backstory of his case, he kills Sura and takes his place instead. Shivan confesses that he might have killed Pillai if he had agreed to take an enormous bribe from Xavier but when Pillai didn’t falter from his stance, he decided to protect him.

In the ATM, he puts Sura’s body instead, making everyone believe that the plan went accordingly. In the end, he drives Pillai to court and leaves on an emotional note. Conclusively, Xavier is punished for his deeds and Eesho is on his way to give justice to the next person.
