Netflix’s latest competitive show Drink Masters is here to show you that it’s not just your food and desserts that are facing tough competition out there! With incredibly talented mixologists coming together to compete with their best drinks, this is a cocktail battle that you should not miss.

Created by Matthew Horngburg and Tim Warren, the judges for this competition include some of the best-known names in the industry- Julie Reiner and Frankie Solarik and host Tone Bell, who are all set to judge the 12 contestants. The contest follows the 12 competitors as they get eliminated one by one to give us the ultimate Drink Masters.

Netflix’s synopsis of the show reads:

With many reality television competitions going on around that focus more on food, desserts, and so on, this show has clearly been a breath of fresh air that showed us the effort put into drinks and the creativity that they can reach. This show was an eye-opener to the kind of magical journey we can embark on with something that fits in a single glass.

Drink Masters has certainly done a good job of bringing out the creativity of the contestants while keeping the show intriguing with the many challenges and guests invited to the show. It also broadened our knowledge of the various techniques that have entered this field and how different it is from the mix and measure we usually think of when talking about mixology.

The visuals that have been brought forth from this show really make you want to able to have a taste of the magic that the judges experience. However, you certainly don’t want to stand under that pressure which can only be borne by the professionals standing in the elimination rounds.

I especially loved how some of the contestants really surprised me with the mix of heritage that they’ve brought on the show while others are able to take you all around the world with their creations. And then there are those who also create cocktails that can take you back in time.

Altogether, this is certainly an enjoyable show and especially for those who are interested in what happens behind the bar. The competition will really bring you those MasterChef vibes but this time with drinks. So get your ‘Spirits’ all ready for this challenge among the best mixers out there!

Summing Up: Drink Masters

This is a show that is worth the watch because it not only opens up a new world for many of us but also because it is simply enjoyable. You will not experience the same mix, mix, mix pattern because there is definitely a lot more happening in this show.

While it brings on some heavy MasterChef vibes, it is a challenge with one winner who is deserving of the title.
