-Dr Stone Season 3 Episode 8 Review Contains No Spoilers-
The latest episode picked up from where the last one ended and provided a deeper look inside the storage traditions of the village. After many episodes and seasons, we finally understand the origin of the green beam of light that turned everyone on Earth into stone. However, there are a lot more secrets that are left to be uncovered by the Kingdom of Science.
Senku and his friends are determined to save Ryusui and others on the ship who got petrified yet again. But the task is not as easy since they will get captured by the guards if somehow they get caught. Usually, the main saviour of the day is typically Senku, but this time, the side characters who are often ignored are given a chance to outshine the leads. Moreover, considerable plot progression is done to give the audience an idea about how it will further develop.
Character development is another noteworthy aspect of the episode that made it interesting. Ginro, who is often seen as a timid individual, turns out to get the job done and help his friends out in the most efficient way. There are a range of different characters present in the series, which provides a fresh perspective to the audience. Nevertheless, the blatant sexualisation of female characters cannot be ignored. A few of the moments serve no purpose to the main plot and are done solely in the name of fanservice.

One of the most impressive aspects of the series is its focus on science and meticulous attention to detail. The episode is filled with ingenious inventions and scientific explanations, making the series not only entertaining but also educational. From simple tools and techniques to advanced technological advancements, the anime showcases the wonders of human innovation. This emphasis on the power of knowledge and the importance of science serves as a constant source of inspiration throughout the series.
However, the pace of the plot might be a drawback for some of the audience who expect grand action sequences. Even though it is undeniably captivating, the lack of immediate gratification might be unappealing to some. But the episodes remain exciting every week, providing a unique plot and characters that force us to invest in the story.
