Dr Stone Season 3 Episode 21 Preview: Dr Stone (ドクターストーン) is an animation series based on the manga of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by the South Korean artist Boichi. After a blinding green light strikes the Earth and petrifies mankind around the world—turning every single human into stone, humanity goes back in time. Years of civilisation have disappeared, and the only hope to rebuild it is in the hands of a brilliant scientist, Senku.
The opening theme is Haruka (遥か) performed by Ryujin Kiyoshi while the ending theme is Suki ni Shinayo (好きにしなよ) performed by Anly for Dr Stone New World Cour 2. From studios of TMS Entertainment, the show is produced by TOHO Animation, Shueisha and 8PAN. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

Dr Stone: New World Part 2 will cover the “New World” arc from the manga series. The story continues to follow Senku, who manages to create the Nitric acid again with the help of platinum. The acid is the only way to free the world from the stone age. However, during his journey, he also finds out the source of the green light that is responsible for the petrification. Will Senku be able to save the world with the help of science?

The main character of the story is Senku, a brilliant scientist. Citizens of the Kingdom of Science include Kohaku, Chrome, Kinro, Ginro, Suika, Gen Asagiri, Kaseki, Magma, and more. Senku’s old friends Taiju Oki and Yuzuriha Ogawa have also joined the cast. Characters from Empire of Might include Tsukasa, Ukyo Saionji, Minami Hokutozai, Yo Uei and more. Ryusui Nanami is the latest addition to the team, who is an expert sailor.

Dr Stone Season 3 Episode 20 Recap
In the previous episode, Senku and Chrome focus on reviving their friends, starting with Amaryllis, Taiju, and Francois. They encounter communication issues and realize the battery of the device is likely dead. Unable to contact the village via the Perseus due to damaged equipment, they decide to repair the ship, reviving the remaining crew members in the process. While retrieving a crew member’s body from the sea floor, Taiju rescues an ancient islander named Matsukaze.
Senku contacts Ishigami Village and discovers that Why-man is using his voice to try to activate the Medusa and petrify the Earth again. Ukyo determines the voice is synthetic, leading the group to investigate the Medusa’s origin and the connection to the Why-man. The episode ends with Matsukaze sharing a childhood memory of devices falling from the sky, and Senku declaring their new goal of reaching the moon, where the Why-man is located.
