Dr Romantic 3 (낭만닥터 김사부3) is the latest season of the romance medical Kdrama of the same name directed by Yoo In-shik. The show stars Han Seok-kyu, Lee Sung-kyung, Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Joo-heon, So Ju-yeon, Yoo Yeon-seok and Jin Kyung, alongside other cast members.
The new season brings the grand opening of Doldam Trauma Centre but with new challenges as Kim Sa-bu and his team face them in their professional and personal lives. As the scale of incidents and accidents that the hospital has to manage, the team has to provide top-quality care for their patients.
Episodes 13 and 14 brought chaos, drama and troubles for Doldam, and while it came with the return of our beloved Kang Dong-ju, it only paved the way for a silent competition. The weekend brought a new wave to Doldam as the biggest trouble blocking Kim Sa-bu’s dream is ready to go all out in the finale.
With the final episodes of this season soon making their way, let us see how the drama solves the many problems that have emerged in the last few episodes of the show. As we wish for another spectacular end of season 3 of Dr Romantic, here’s what you can expect to see in happen in the finale week of the drama.
Dr Romantic 3: What to Expect in Episodes 15 and 16?
The previous episodes brought new problems for Doldam and the people there- from Woo-jin’s hand which is not easy to heal, to the break up of our beloved Ah-reum Eun-tak couple, along with Assemblyman Ko bringing more problems to obstruct the trauma centre. These are just a few of the many problems that have emerged and we are here to see how they could be solved.

Dr Romantic 3 episode 15 preview has given us all a sneak peek into the upcoming evacuation of the trauma centre after a forest fire begins to make its way to the hospital. However, the clip also showed the staff at the trauma centre finally getting over their differences against Dong-ju and rushing to rescue the wounded first.
The preview brings a lot of details and the plot until now leaves many knots in place, here’s a look into what we can expect from the finale week.
The Trauma Centre
One of the biggest spectacles this weekend is sure to be the trauma centre which has been a dream of Kim Sa-bu’s since season 1. With Assemblyman Ko making all necessary arrangements to get the centre to shut down and her hands on the land where it stands, the forest fire is just the icing on the cake for her plans.
Unfortunately for her, it is not easy to mess with the trauma centre which is a sign of Kim Sa-bu’s dream coming to life. The centre is sure to survive, which is why we have the official from the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

While we cannot say much about the damage the forest fire may bring, we expect nothing to happen to the centre. However, this also opens up the route of the Doldam Hospital’s end as the new is ready to replace the old.
Dong-ju’s Plan
Episode 14 left us with the Trauma centre staff on a boycott and a rush of patients wounded from a nearby forest fire. While the episode itself left us hanging, the preview soon showed us that the Doldam staff isn’t one to ignore a human life as they rush back to aid Dong-ju. However, it looks like the staff has understood Dong-ju’s arrangement while working on the crisis at hand right now.
It won’t take long for them to understand the man Kang Dong-ju really is and with the help of Nurse Oh and Do-il, they are sure to drop any complaints they have against him. Accompanying this scene would most probably be the answer that Dong-ju gives to Kim Sa-bu’s question about wanting to be a leader or a boss.

Possible Return of More Faces
There is a possibility of this being the last season of Dr Romantic, but even if it is not, we can expect to see the old Doldam team return to this peculiar place. Following Dong-ju, we can soon expect Seo-jung, In-bum and even Yoon-wan to make an appearance in the finale episode.
Dong-ju has already mentioned that his team is soon to arrive at Doldam, so there is already a big possibility of his friends being part of this team. However, along with them, there is a possibility of our season 1 and 2 antagonist Do Yoon-wan also making an appearance as the one influencing Assemblyman Ko.
Woo-jin and Eun-jae
With our season 1 couple hopefully reuniting, we can see a bigger hope for our season 2 lead couple who have been having it rough this season. With Woo-jin hurting himself time and time again, following the major damage his wrist has faced, it is a big probability that his wrist will soon get cured and he will return to the surgery scene.

Woo-jin is sure to get into competition with Dong-ju, while his relationship with Eun-jae will soon move to the next level. And yes, I do mean marriage because this has been a constant topic between these two this season. Not to forget, Woo-jin still has to make up for the rejection he delivered to Eun-jae’s proposal.
Eun-tak and Ah-reum
While the lead couples of the two seasons have been winning us all, our second lead couple has also slid into our hearts in the most comfortable way possible. Ah-reum and Eun-tak are definitely one of the best couples on this show and this was prevalent when their breakup scene caused many hearts to break in the previous episodes.
Hopefully, this doesn’t stay the same for long because these two really need to be together in order to bring the perfect ending for this season.

Altogether, these are just some of the many loose ends we have been left with that need to be fixed. There is also the mystery about Dong-hwa’s identity (I personally think he is Kim Sa-bu’s first student’s brother), Kim Sa-bu’s next plan, and more. To get these answers, we need to wait for the final episodes that are soon to release.
