Doctor Lawyer Overview

Doctor Lawyer (닥터 로이어) is a Korean law-drama TV series directed by Lee Yong-seok and stars So Ji-sub, Lim Soo-hyang and Shin Sung-rok, alongside other cast members. The series has 16 episodes and takes over MBC’s Friday-Saturday 10 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Tomorrow

The series follows Han Yi-han, a brilliant cardiothoracic surgeon who is unfairly accused of the death of a patient which results in him losing his medical license. As he comes to terms with the incident which deeply affected him, since the patient was his girlfriend and lawyer Geum Seok-yeong’s younger brother, he jumps back into the scene as a lawyer after 5 years and works exclusively with medical litigations. As he tries to uncover the truth and punish those responsible for his patient’s death, he starts working with Seok-yeong. Will they be able to bring Seok-ju’s murderers to justice?

Doctor Lawyer episode 3 has Yi-han come into the limelight in the most extra way possible – performing emergency surgery on Ki-tae in the middle of the court and proclaiming himself to be his lawyer. Afterwards, after he successfully defends him, a shocking news leaves him stunned that night. Meanwhile, Jaden Lee makes his first appearance.
