Doctor Cha Episode 8 Twitter Reactions: The Obsession for Jeong-suk’s Revenge Dress is Unreal

A new Korean Drama from JTBC is here, and the fans have spoken in the Doctor Cha Episode 8 Twitter reactions. Also known as 닥터 차정숙, this series stars Uhm Jung-hwa, Kim Byung-chul, Min Wook-hyuk, Myung Se-bin, Song Ji-ho, Jo A-ram, Baek Joo-hee, Park Jun-Keum, Kim Mi-kyung, Lee Seo-yoon, So A-rin, Park Chul-min, Kimg Byung-choon, Lim Hyoung-soo and Kim Yea-eun, alongside other cast members.

This Korean Drama series is directed by Kim Dae-Jin and written by Jung Yeo-Rang. This show shows the protagonist making a drastic lifestyle choice. After putting a pause on her medical resident career to become a homemaker, Cha Jeong-suk decides to start her training all over again when her husband, In-ho, a chief surgeon at the university hospital, cheats on her.

While Jeong-suk is still coming to terms with the fact that she is not dead, the other people in her life have come to badger her and ask her why she made such a rash decision. Roy Kim has a more interesting response to all of this. He goes straight in for a hug. She is rattled and most of all, the scandal has made everyone confused about the relationship these three may be having with each other.

Seung-hi hates all of this and is mad that she needs to stay for a dumb conversation like that anyways. All she wants is for the truth to come out that she has been dating In-ho, and they have been happy in love together. The best part is that Eun-seo and her finally have something in common because she wants everyone to know. When the three of them are out together, In-ho, Seung-hi and Eun-seo, the latter invite I-rang also. Here, she finds out that her father has been a philanderer with a mistress in his hospital.

She goes home dejected but is given some hope when she finds that he now has no respect or right to say anything to anybody in the family. In-ho’s mother is home, and I-rang tells her everything. For someone who is so devout with the Bible, what her son did is unforgivable. And so now only Jung-min and Jeong-suk are left to find out about this.

A still from the episode

Jung-min finds out anyways the next day when his father conveniently leaves his phone in the office for everyone to see. He then finds Seung-hi and In-ho in an embrace at the Emergency exit, and his whole life flashes before his eyes like some kind of horror story. Deciding to confront his dad, he directly asks him after the surgery and is unable to look away or give him a straight answer, In-ho just relents. What Jung-min didn’t know was that everyone in the house knows. But after In-ho’s implicating questions, even that becomes clear.

Meanwhile, Jeong-suk has been doing her job happily and enjoying work. Just before her birthday dinner, she finds out that her husband has cheated on her with Choi Seung-hi. Absolutely livid, she puts on a revenge dress in order to goad In-ho and prove to everyone there that she can totally do this by herself and doesn’t really need a husband to pull all of this off.

Fans are too excited to see In-ho finally get what he deserves in this episode. Additionally, there is a scene in this episode when I-rang absolutely owns Eun-seo in an argument, and the writing for that was so fire. It was also a testament to how good they were as actors. Moreover, people are finally coming to terms with the fact that the mother-in-law may not be the she-demon we initially thought she was. Despite all her old transgressions, she is actually remotely okay in this episode, and people are surprised it has happened.
