Doctor Cha Episode 1 Twitter Reactions: Curses For the Husband Fly in Strongly

A new Korean Drama from JTBC is here, and the fans have spoken in the Doctor Cha Episode 1 Twitter reactions. Also known as 닥터 차정숙, this series stars Uhm Jung-hwa, Kim Byung-chul, Min Wook-hyuk, Myung Se-bin, Song Ji-ho, Jo A-ram, Baek Joo-hee, Park Jun-Keum, Kim Mi-kyung, Lee Seo-yoon, So A-rin, Park Chul-min, Kimg Byung-choon, Lim Hyoung-soo and Kim Yea-eun, alongside other cast members.

This Korean Drama series is directed by Kim Dae-Jin and written by Jung Yeo-Rang. This show shows the protagonist making a lifestyle choice. After putting a pause on her medical resident career to become a homemaker, Cha Jeong-suk decides to start her training all over again when her husband, In-ho, a chief surgeon at the university hospital, cheats on her.

It gets worse, fellas, because he is cheating on her and refuses to give her his liver. The woman who works tirelessly for him takes care of his children, the house and his mother. To catch up on this, let’s start with the part where she goes to the department store to buy her husband some sunglasses but passes out in the middle because her liver has started failing. In order to get better, the doctor has advised her to get a transplant.

Now, In-ho has been grappling with all his inner emotions, including his responsibilities towards Seung-hi, his mistress, who has been badgering him with questions. Naturally, she wants to know if she went through something like that whether her boyfriend would come through. No avail, of course, because his mother still treats him like a child who is unable to take care of himself.

The only sane person in Cha Jeong-suk’s life right now is the doctor treating her. They had met before when an incident on the train went wrong, and they needed to call the ambulance. The doctor knew that she was studying to become a surgeon but couldn’t finish studying. In an attempt to take her mind off her illness and just to make her see the operating room once more, the two attend a surgery. She is enthusiastic about everything happening in the room. Meanwhile, he continues to take in her interest in the procedure.

Jeong-sook’s about to go under the knife too, and her husband almost signs the transplant papers, but his mother comes in and tears the forms. Jeong-sook sees this debacle happening but still manages to get a transplant. When she wakes up, the only thing she has to say to her husband is, “You Bastard.” With this perfect ending to the episode, we get to see a new version of the character growing.

Fans are super excited to see this side of her and are also terribly put off by In-ho’s general demeanour in the show. Moreover, since the humour in this is incredibly interesting, they are having fun with that too. So without any further ado, check out what the fans think of the show.
