Diwali 2022 is just around the corner as the festive season has already started and celebrations wouldn’t be complete without some truly grooving and rocking music, that will pull you to the dance floor. While there are a vast majority of Diwali party playlists, we bring you some of the crackling BTS songs playlist, for all the Indian ARMYs out there. While we can just hit ‘play all’ for their whole discography, we have curated some of the loudest songs that match our festive mood.
BTS Songs to Play at the Diwali 2022 Party
Fire
Do I even need to say anything other than ‘Bultaoreune’, to get everyone to break into the dance move, where we swing our arms with all the energy? Fire is the song that will get any boring party started with its addictive and energy-bursting beats. While I don’t really recommend bursting crackers in this changing climate, if you are, then this is the only song to play/sing while you light them.
Dynamite
‘Cause I-I-I’m in the stars tonight; So watch me bring the fire and set the night alight‘ what better lyrics could summarise the whole Diwali vibe, while you light up your candles, diyas and fairy lights and literally feel like you are among the stars?
Also combining disco and pop, the retro song and dance moves give us a bright and joyful nostalgia (of the time in 2020, when it was released), especially now when BTS fans might need it most.
Idol
The song Idol in itself is a celebration of BTS and what they achieved. And in our case, during the festivals, we can’t really avoid the judgemental relatives, who question and comment on our lives. Then take the best advice from BTS as they say, “I know what I am, I know what I want, I never gon’ change”, and dont stop loving yourself, and ignore whatever others say. Apart from that this song is a bop to dance on.
Not Today
Turn the volume all the way up on Not Today. A song that encourages you to live your best life, never give up and stand up against the darkness. A message that the festival of Diwali also suggests, is a win against the darkness and celebration of your life. It encourages you to never give up in the face of challenges and keep moving forward, at your own pace.
Permission to Dance
While the above-mentioned songs go pretty hard with the music and the choreography, Permission to Dance is a chill groovy song that invites everyone to come together and have a good time. So let the music get you going and roll in like dancing fools. You can dance however you want to this song and being in English, maybe even the non-armys might not stop moving.
Butter
When I think about all the Diwali sweets, Butter is the song that comes to my mind. As the sweets melt in our mouths and then gonna pop like trouble, breaking into our skin and tummy the next day. And with so many versions from holiday remix to hotter, cooler and others, you can choose your favourite among them.
Mikrokosmos
To end your party on a happy and grateful note, Mikrokosmos is the best song to play, as you happily enjoy the rest of your night, looking around at all the “Twinkling starlight, flashing lights on the Building” – as Jungkook starts the song with.
These are some of our favourite tracks from the BTS party playlist. Which one is your favourite? What more tracks will you add to this list? Let us know in the comment section below.
